Really want to sample the S4 chip - from what I've heard

, it's like a cheetah on steroids.
Shame the Gray option wasn't available - I really like the look of that bar the blue ring.
You will probably say it doesn't feel any faster than your GS 2 knowing you!
I think you will be impressed with the performance though as with my S, that is what it really feels like to me, but I have disabled an awful lot of apps and sense stuff now, have 64 apps installed.
Also if you want to get the best speed for wifi related stuff i.e. browsing, streaming films etc. be sure to go to
wifi>menu>advanced>best wifi performance
That makes wifi related tasks a bit quicker I found and allowed me to play films, tv shows via BS player lite lan mode smoothly, however, I think it makes the wifi signal strength a bit weaker and not as consistent and last time I left it enabled constantly it drained the battery pretty damn quickly! Need to test this out properly though with comparisons to the wifi stuff with "best performance" turned off and on as I very rarely use that feature.
Also earlier on I was transferring a 1080P video via wifi transfer with "wifi max performance" disabled and was only getting 30kB/s or something like that where as with "wifi max performance" enabled I was then getting 230kB/s, again need to test it more thoroughly to see if that is consistent for both settings.
Plus if you go to developer settings, you can force GPU rendering (uses 2D hardware acceleration in apps that don't support HWA), haven't had any problems with it enabled and the apps that weren't super smooth before are super smooth now
Yeah, I seen a dummy grey model in the shop before I got my S and it was pretty nice looking the way it had a lighter shade at the top of the back and then got darker as you went down, or it may have been the other way round, can't remember which

(reminded me of the nexus one design, which is my favourite mobile for design/looks yet). Didn't like the blue ring either and the front though, love the pure black look for the front of the MAO model. Also found the grey model a bit more slippy to hold.
I've gone back to the Arc, it's the perfect size and weight for me (almost identical to the One S)
It'll be interesting to do a real world performance/efficiency comparison between the two.
Ah right nice
Yeah very similar, the S is slightly larger but thinner and a couple of grams heavier.
I have never properly used an arc, so can't comment at all really, but it should be a pretty nice upgrade overall
