Made £100 so far, so much for not enjoying this game! :D

If everything else sells I should have funded all my game purchases for the remainder of the year (TL2, BF3 Premium, GW2)
 
I'm curious who is actually paying this kinda money for items? It must be outrageously rich Russians/Arabs who regard £100 as pocket change. It's pretty mental :D
 
Spent a bit of my in game gold on upgrades, pretty expensive but I managed to get DPS upgrades as well as getting some magic find. I don't mind swapping out some gear for the champ packs but I get bored doing my entire inventory each time.

Currently sat at 110K DPS without SS and 55% MF. I'd like to make that 100% MF but I don't see how I can easily do this without gimping my DPS too much.

I'm gimping my dps loads for the sake of MF%. I've never spent so much on the AH. :)

That said, i'm doing goblin runs so it's not as much of an issue as long as i can still take down the goblin in time. Currently only up to 50MF% but gonna work my way up to 200MF% if i can.
 
Is anyone getting lag on the american servers at the moment?

Not sure if its my ISP or the game servers. It will be fine for hours then all of a sudden my ping is all over the place and I get random disconnects

Okay, I am sorta unsure on how to price them really... I'm playing as a wizard, so I'm mainly collecting intelligence...

How about this item for a barb? Is it any good?

Yeah, but for pricing just search the AH for similar items. i.e. for that amulet I would look for:

Class: Barb
Type: Legendary
Item: Armor / Amulet
Level: 60 - 60
All Res: 18
Life on hit: 350
Strength: 149

I did this but could not find any amulets with those stats which suggest what you have is pretty rare and therefore worth more. Lowering the stats a bit I did start to find some but they had ridiculous buyouts of like 15M+

Would not hurt to let the market decide your price somewhat if you're not sure. Start it up at say 3M bid and put up 15M buyout and if anyone wants it bad enough they will buy it, or you will get some last min bids in that will take it closer to your buyout price at least.
 
I dont understand how people work out AH prices. I've seen stuff priced for millions of gold. I have no idea how anyone could afford that so early in the games lifespan without cheating. I try and sell stuff for a few thousand and nobody buys. Stuff with fairly decent stats too.

I guess the market must be oversaturated with sellers right now.
 
A quick question, If I was to join my GFs game who is further back in the game than me would that mean me having to play catch up again on single player? I am near the end of ACT3 on Nightmare and she is at the start and is struggling, i want to helpher but don't want to lose where I am up to.

You dont really need to price them do you?

Its bidding, people price them, themselves.

I dont think there is that many people buying, and it can be hard to find the stuff.

Nah you can reselect your current quest again in the character menus

Depends on the item, if you look for similar items in the AH and there are pages of the things, yours is unlikely to sell, these types I normally just salvage or sell to vendors.

If you search and there are not pages, then it generally means you have a winner and you can sell it on for approximately the prices you find.

I always search out similar items before I sell mine so I don't put up ridiculous bargains or overprice too much.

Stats I look for on items are high all res, high one of stats like dex or int, chests with lots of sockets and good stats, items with high MF and other good stats, weapons with high DPS, especially if you can get good stats like life on hit for melee weapons, sockets/crit % dmg for bows etc.

Once you know what sells well and what doesn't you can almost make on the fly decisions about what is worth even trying to sell.
