What film did you watch last night?

Watched 2 films over the weekend. Both completely different and really enjoyable.

Adam - 8/10

Soon after moving in, Beth, a brainy, beautiful writer damaged from a past relationship encounters Adam, the handsome, but odd, fellow in the downstairs apartment whose awkwardness is perplexing. Beth and Adam's ultimate connection leads to a tricky relationship that exemplifies something universal: truly reaching another person means bravely stretching into uncomfortable territory and the resulting shake-up can be liberating.

Sin Nombre - 8/10

Honduran teenager Sayra reunites with her father, an opportunity for her to potentially realize her dream of a life in the U.S. Moving to Mexico is the first step in a fateful journey of unexpected events

Immortals - 6.5/10

Was an alright film, some nice visual effects but was all a bit cheesy/predictable as you'd expect with Micky Rourke in.

Dead Season - 5/10

Average zombie film that kind of rips of The Walking Dead series but unfortunately it falls at the first hurdle.

Watchable to the end but will easily be forgotten.

'High Risk'. Thanks to 'Putty' on OCUK for finding it for me

Classic nonsense 80s cheese buddy-shoot-em-up film

Brought back some nice memories

10/10 for the cheese, 3/10 for the actual film

I saw Shawshank last night on ITV1 HD. First time, thought it was absolutely brilliant.

One of my all time favourite movies.
The music aswell... oh the music.

I watched The Departed (again)

Brilliant film, great script acting and music, and brutal at the end, 9/10

Watched Alpha Dog last night, was after something to watch and saw this was on the IPlayer, hadn't seen it before.

Was pretty good, didn't actually realise it was based on a true story until the end.

1000 Words.

Stars Eddie Murphy who plays a top salesman who can talk his way into any deal with customers. He meets his match with one spiritualist who has released a book and the only way to overcome the situation is to find his inner self.

A film about self realisation for the main character and excusable plot holes. Some funny lines all round and DAT OUTFIT on his wife in the hotel room...

IMDB gave it a sub-average rating, I give it a 6/10.

I want to watch Bag Of Hammers next!
