Public games still feel pointless also, there needs to be some kind of gear check atleast. With friends is fine, but with randoms you constantly get people with rubbish gear trying to do acts in inferno, causing more problems with elites than helping by luring everything on you.

Performing any action seems to lower your durability :(

My amulet took damage from me firing my crossbow.

A freaking amulet.

Note to self, Stand still and do not blink

So you get no blues from chests any more?

What about resplendent chests?

Think it just means that you don't get the addition that MF applies to the items coming out of the chest so they would just be standard ilevel appropriate items for the act/area you opened it from.

i actually like the patch:

- will force some variety in DH builds (both skills and items) since virtually every DH was using nether tenticles and attack speed

- hopefully repair costs should suck a lot of money out of the economy and make gold worth something again - i noticed in the past week that even average items were priced in the millions whereas they were in the low hundreds of thousands a few days ago. If you are dying a lot, you dont have good enough gear - drop down an act and farm some more.

- will give the chance to get good stuff in all acts on inferno, adding more gameplay variety (can farm different spots instead of the same old part)

- reduced co op damage should encourage more co op play which is more fun than solo

overall, looking forward to playing the game and seeing how it turns out

OK. Inferno is MASSIVELY nerfed.

I used to manage Act 2 with a shield, and good gear. Currently using my Act 1 FARMING gear, and doing pretty well in Act 3. Need to switch to better gear from farming gear for bosses, but that's about it....

I find it to be quite the opposite. Lovely atmosphere, boss unique drops and perfect music.

Hint, use a glide wrapper and turn contrast up to max. Then its beautiful outside and pitch black in dungeons.

Also, install plugy mod to enable free skill respec.

With the latest D2 patch (1.13 I believe) you can redo all of your skills whenever you like, as opposed to having your skill points locked down when used.

You do understand supply and demand right? As more people get further the number of people farming good drops goes up and once people have good gear, they can re-sell it when they get better equipment which drives down the prices of the basic inferno equipment.

Reduced coop damage aint enough for Inferno sorry to say. Regular enemies can be a bit more challenging when they live longer, at least if you're the one in the middle of them... but the extra health just makes hard to control or very hard hitting-hard to outrun elites almost impossible to defeat.

arent most people already in act 3/4? im talking about the people stuck in act 2 dying all the time bidding up prices. My 3 level 60's already have nearly perfect gear, but trying to gear up my 4th with average gear was stupidly expensive

That completely contradicts what you just said

does anyone remember in prepatch if changing acts removes NVs? I just killed butcher with 5 NV and talked to the caravan and my NVs are now gone

also act 1 inferno is a joke now lol dark berserks that used to hit 20k now does 10k with their glowing red weapon

It always did.

And I didn't think they'd changed anything on act 1?
