Got some nice Inna's Glory this morning, random stat roll of 74 Int.

74 Int, 143 Vit, 6 IAS, 1 Crit, 6 MS

Shame no sockets tho :( 2 sockets on those would have destroyed my current Wizard pants by about 4k DPS.

thanks for that, was just having a look on the AH, those weapons are gosh darn pricey! didnt get to check the rings + armour as the AH went down.

Interesting build and refreshing to see stuff get killed so quickly, but i dont think i would be able to afford to replicate it. Would you mind posting screen shots of your items when you have time? would be very interested to see where you got the life on hit and crit stuff etc cheers

There's a pretty good guide up on youtube actually which shows how you can gear up for this for 880k, although the prices might've gone up now. Link. The weapons will probably be the expensive bit! There's some good information about the build in the description too.

Basically, it's based around high crit chance, life on hit and really fast attacks! You get pretty much infinite fury and great healing from using Sprint with the Run Like the Wind rune so that you drop tornados behind you while sprinting, which can hit several targets very fast and give lots of opportunities for crits. You need to have Battle Shout with the Into The Fray rune so that your crits have a chance to generate 15 fury, and you need a decent amount of crit too. 35-40% is recommended I believe but you get 18% from passives if you're using a mace/axe with Weapon Master, 28% with WOTB up. Then, it's just a case of dropping the tornados and unleashing hell with Whirlwind!

Here's my gear. Yeah, it's worth a fair bit but most of the items didn't cost me more than 1-2m. I found the crazy dps 1her and one of the rings, and bought the OH for 13m but the rest of them were just pretty good deals.

** UPDATE - 2/7/2012 **

As many of you are aware, we are currently experiencing issues with the Diablo III Auction House in Europe. Access to the Auction house has been temporarily disabled while our technicians are working on it and we apologise for the inconvenience the traders of Sanctuary are currently experiencing. We will post back here with updates as we get them and encourage you to follow @BlizzardCSEU_EN on Twitter for the latest information.

Any items or gold that were part of an earlier auction active during the time of maintenance should be delivered retroactively. Please keep in mind that transactions may suffer a slight delay once the Auction House is brought back online.

That Barbarian video is awesome! Definitely watching that through later and looking at the required loadout. Didn't occur to me to try a setup like that. :)

I bet the bow is gone by the time it comes back online :(

Anyone have a 950+dps bow with 150+ dex and 50+ crit up for sale? Must have over 300 dps minimum damage. Health on hit or death also a bonus :D

If the bow is as good as you say with no buyout do you honestly expect you would've got it cheap?

Plus the AH is retarded when it comes to bids. I'm fairly certain that if you just incrementally bid it keeps track of it fine, but if someone puts there own number in the AH is useless and doesn't display the value they chose, leaving you to guess and incrementally bump up the value you see until you finally get the highest bid.

Isn't that how Ebay works? Seems fine to me. It stops you having to sit at a computer and constantly make new bids.

Thanks :D

This is the build I'm using, taken from the topic on the official forums here but using Leap instead of Overpower.

I tried to show my gear in the vid but the quality didn't turn out too well.. Here are my stats:

Damage: 52k (62k buffed, 85k with WOTB)
HP: 41K
Armour: 6k (7k buffed)
All Res: 540 (800 buffed)
Attack Spd: 1.66
LoH: 1057
Crit Chance: 46% (49% buffed)
Crit Damage: 388%
Str: 1451
Vit: 940

It is quite a gear dependent build but it's affordable for most. The guy who made the post about it originally put up a guide showing how to gear up for Act 3 for 880k, albeit with a fair bit less dps than me. Link.

Except with that gear mate a normal build will be so much more effective, quicker and easier.

The only plus side to the tornado spec is that it can be played cheap. As in, you can finish inferno within few mil budget on that build.

The gear you have is like 100mil+, you can afk inferno with any build with that gear especially now after inferno nerf.

----
Not to be offensive or anything but people shouldnt get their hopes up for doing it half as easily without at least 15mil in gear.

After watching your vid I think i'm going to try this out in act 1 with my current gear and see how I get on :) Thanks!

Well, I put on another 1h instead of the shield and tried your setup but it was a miserable fail! :p I need a lot more crit and dmg I think before I can pull that off!

Whats your usual rotation for this setup btw?

Thanks.

One the one hand after watching that video i was happy that its possible to massacre higher acts in the right gear.

On the other hand I'm sadface at all the hate that went out to DHs who pre-nerf would kill at about 75% of this speed but with infinitely more risk.

My post nerf DH has 100mil+ worth of gear and can get nowhere near that kill speed and level of survivability.

I think you misunderstood. It doesn't update the current bid to the actual amount, it updates it to the next increment if you let the AH set the bid. So if you saw a weapon for 10k and the bid was 2mil you would have to go through increment by increment until you got to 2mil. Its seriously annoying, more so when it takes your damn money every attempt and you have to go into 'completed' and send it back to your stash, and of course, after every attempt you have to 'search' again to up the bid shown to the next increment. It's a horrible system clearly designed by clueless idiots who never actually tried to use it.

Its why I ignore almost any item without a buyout. Unless you're there at closing time you'll probably miss out on it anyway.

I think I'm still misunderstanding!

So are you unhappy that the AH doesn't automatically show the highest bid made on an item because this means that you need to make loads of 'blind bids' before you might eventually become the highest bidder.
