***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

The PB S3 is a brand new invented colour though, according to Samsung anyway :p

The case on mine^ is the black one btw. The grey one is lighter in shade and suits the white S3. Use of bounced flash results in mine looking lighter than it actually is.

Didn't you once say that in order to achieve a similar effect as your photos (with the flash "bounce") to hold a piece of white paper above the object that you're taking a photo off/above the flash of your mobile phone etc. or something like that?

Could do with improving my photos a bit :p :o

Blue all the way. The brushed effect makes it look like a more premium phone (the effect is VERY nice as well, don't believe people saying it looks like a cheap plastic brushed effect e.t.c). The white makes it look bland and boring in my opinion.

The white one is like any other white phone. The blue is something nice and different and stands out from all the normal jet black or white phones.

The blue ones I've seen, I only actually know they're blue when I get real close. Maybe it's just my bad vision, but the first one I saw, before I realised it was an SIII, I thought was dark grey...

Anyway, silly argument. There is no 'better' colour, it's all about personal preference. If you bought your phone because of what other people would think of it, well, that's up to you and you may continue to argue :p

Well after getting the Galaxy S3 last Friday its going back, having issues with charging the phone. The supplied charge cable will charge the phone at snail like pace ie 20hours of charging for 10%... Funny thing is my HTC charger is fine at recharging the phone to full in no time at all. But on the safe side got T-mobile to send out whole new box/phone tomorrow to see if that's any better.

Anyone else had the same issue? from quick Google found few others with the issue which seems to point at the **** cable Samsung supplied with the phone.

Blue looks very nice with a case, watchu talkin' 'bout NinetyOne!

It can be argued (with various degrees of success depending on the case in question) that the white looks more of a toy when a case is attached too. I've seen plenty of cases on the white one now having got both colours in the household/family network!

I have exactly the same colour and case, I love it! In fact thanks Mrk for putting up the pics of this case earlier in the thread, it really helped to make my mind up, also I love the feel of the case too.

It's quite easy to get such high screen on times with lengthy battery times if you stagger out the usage pattern. It's kind of a deceiving mind-**** illusion in a way :p

Have a tighter long term few hours with screen on and that battery uptime won't be anywhere near a full day :p

Mine doesn't seem to want to charge from the mains. Its plugged into a PS3 now and then charging fine but tried 4 different charger and usb cable combinations and it just won't charge? This is the second time it's happened.

Gonna try get mine replaced tomorrow. Wouldn't charge at all tonight, had to get girlfriends battery and she charged my empty one.

Don't get white - You'll regret it big time - Most white owners probably do but won't admit ;)

Since the colour thing has come up again...

I opened up the blue one I ordered the other week and I though it looked naff, not metallic or special in any way at all. So plastic that I actually started scratching away at the back because I thought it had a protective sticker on still. I was expecting it would look okay at least, and I originally would have got it for myself if they'd both been available at the same time.

Inspired by nature - glossy white and fake blue metal.

Haha, I recognised it was your desk before I noticed your name at the bottom. :o

What's the cheapest deal around at the moment for an S3 guys? Or maybe go for something else sim free... I want Android again!!!!1110111!

Replaced my cheapo screen protector with an InvisibleSheild one yday, left it off for 12 hours like they said, turned it on this morning to find 3 tiny black specs underneath :( I'm guessing it's too late to peal it off and reapply?

Also, gives it a real rubbery feel to the screen, not sure if I like it yet or not
