Any good? And is it worth much?

Is that really a surprise? Str/Vit/Res is either more common or just not bought as much. And with Dex, you won't get away with paying nothing extra for unwanted resistances either on top tier gear because everyone knows One With Everything is a staple monk skill. You can't really expect to get 150+ on 2 high value stats and ideal resistances with lots of armour for cheap. Sounds like quite a rare find on top of being a highly desired item for any monk.

I can craft 6 prop belts if you fancy a gamble :) ill say now though, the stats you are looking for are pretty high for a belt. They dont seem to roll high primary stats as often as other slots.

My issue isn't with the item being "rare" so expensive, its that prices are so incredibly high that it is nigh on impossible to obtain that amount of gold without extreme luck or handing over cold hard cash.

Of the 20+ friends who were online 2-3 weeks after release, there's now maybe 3-4 on a good night, all of them have quit for one reason or another, but it all boils down to one thing.

Without progression there's no fun. Did 2 and half complete runs of ACT2 today, had 1 item worth selling, sold for 125,000 gold. Bad luck? maybe, flawed game? Definitely. How does one afford the 10's of millions for single upgrades if that's all you get for 6-7 hours work.

Yeah,I just spent 2.5 million on a weapon tonight. Realised belatedly that it was purely to help make farming Act1 a little bit simpler. To what end... to spend another 20hours to get a couple more million for the next upgrade.
Jeez. And some of those AH prices are ridiculous. 10000000 gold. Yeah right. How about a cap on those prices?
So this is Blizzard's way of adding longevity to the game? Game should have been called "Greed".

Yup, might go back to Max Payne and try to finish that off. I'm taking a break from the Ebay simulator.

Gold is decreasing in value at a staggering rate. Won't be long before semi-decent items are in the 100's of millions. I've never had more than 2m in the bank. :(

It's already there, 700 dps weapons are pushing upwards of 7 million, ok stats on armour are 2-3 million or more.

I'm sure the items priced at 20-30+ million don't sell, but the problem is they push up the cost of everything else as well.

Someone lists an item with good dex/vit and res for 25 million, someone else comes along with an item that has a bit less dex/vit and res and puts it up for 20 million.

It's less money but still unrealistic for a majority of diablo 3 players.

I'm sitting at 16 million on my account, thats taken me weeks to farm and there's no way i'd blow it all on 1 item.

Bought a ring before for 20 million, sold a couple of things for 30-40 million. They sell.

Right now I'm looking for a helm with 200-250 int / 5-6% crit chance / 10 ap on crit / a socket or a lot of vitality / life % -- would happily pay upto 30 million for it.

Andrials wotsit helm thing dropped today. 6th legendary drop now. 200h in running around with 180MF full buff (none of this gear swapping nonesense).

Better than most so I sell for a rock bottom price of 300k. Goes within minutes. Sometimes I think I sell stuff cheap just so I get to hear the auction sale sound :D

I have a question about upgrading my armour.
My armor rating is about 10k at the moment so if I choose an item with less armor on it than the one I'm equipped with (say I put on 400 armor gloves instead of 500 armor) do I just lose 100 of my armor rating?
I ask this as sometimes lesser armor items seem to have better stats/properties than what I'm currently using but I don't know whether they're an upgrade or not due to the (sometimes minimal) armor loss:o

Ok so I have finished hell and have no intention at all to play through the game again to get a few more items.

As Diablo III is the only game associated with my battle.net account, is it possible to sell the account? I have a level 60 monk which took a while to level, pretty average items and about 900k in gold.

No way in hell is that worth 100mil... Someone must've been desperate to use that set and bought a lot of gold to splash out on that.

Jesus wept! wp :p

Should have RMAH'd it :D

I considered that. But figured it would allow me to progress more if I sold it in game... Even if it had sold for £200, that's less than 3 days work for me... Considering I'd expect it to take more than 3 days to make that much gold, as I don't plan on buying on the RMAH, I figured it was worth selling in game. At the end of the day, after I've equipped my barb out, I'll probably still be able to sell the gold left over for a reasonable amount on the RMAH when they release it...

wtf someone really have that much gold

and here i am cant even get pass 10m :(

grtz on the sale

Yeah, I even think the buyout was a bit low to be honest. It bought for buyout, but above that amount, people struggle to get more money (I've had it up for a few days at a few different prices...)

The set's very very good for DH's, so people tend to quite like it. Not many of the items have 4% crit though, and currently Athene is running around with a pimped up set of it, (I actually think that helm's better than the one he's using), so that's probably inflating the price slightly as well xD

legally? no

I find Natalya's set in general over hyped. 2 Disc a sec is extremely nice, but not at the cost of all the stats you're going to be losing from regular rares.

Yeah that's right, unless you have any passives or skills that boost armor rating by a % then you'd lose 100 * whatever the percentage is.
