Anyone help me get to Ghom on Act 3 inferno, I in the larder and cannot get past a invulnerable minions, waller, arcane, desecrater.

Nice play, if i'm looking for upgrades and spot things that area clearly worth more than put up for then I snap them up to re-sell. Sadly only happens once in a blue moon as the bargains disappear almost as quick as they show up!

Stats are nice. Not sure I'd want to pay 2mil for it though without a socket but I guess the Vit makes up for a life % gem.

I need some Monk Inferno advice please guys!

What setup am i going to need for Act1? 2h / Dual Wield / Sword and Board?

What are the Passives people are using for Inferno? What Mantras + Runes also?

What stats should i be prioritising? im guessing i need to aim for around 1k LOH ASAP and ton of Resist gear too right? What then? Pure Dex and Vit?

Any advice would be welcome

I was quite comfortable in Act 1 with about 600 resist, dual wield, 15kdps 500loh

Any advice from DH's on upgrade path? I'm thinking maybe another 100 - 150 all resist if I can squeeze it in, also a bow with LoH as I have none other than my switch out ammy. Wouldn't mind a bit more armor also. Farming Act 1 quite a lot at the moment, but looking to move onto Act 3 farming. Can do it now, but not as comfortable as Act 1 (obviously ).

There's actually still quite a few things I want to change to that set up xD I'd let Vit drop a couple of hundred, and I want Str to hit 1800+....

Also, want to change the weapons out for better stuff...

As a side point, damage above is fully buffed, so WOTB, Battle Rage, and I did have Frenzy shrine at the time, but still

Nothern Highlands, find this place

Seems to be in the top left of the map when looking for the Khazra Staff. Got my second legendary ( the belt below ) in two days and all these yellows from inside that watch tower.. Most of which are level 63! Still to identify them though

Could just be random luck but yaknow

Yeah, watch tower used to be great if you walked in with 5 stacks of NV, you'd walk out with loads of rares. It used to spawn like 90% of the time, but I'm pretty sure they nerfed it with the drop changes, so it's not worth actively hunting it out anymore... Especially, as it doesn't always spawn such large floors...

Well I had only 1 NV but twice now it seems that you get 4 packs at once ( easy ones) they run towards you and you blast them for 5NV and then there's a **** load of yellows and a legendary happened exactly the same yesterday its a level 61 Barbarian belt not identified it yet though hopefully its decent

No place is as reliable as the Vault of the Assassin in Act 2 tbh. The layout is basically the same every time. You start in the centre with a square around it and most, if not all, have platforms leading out. There's a chance for up to 2 treasure goblins (never found higher) and you'll get at least 7 or 8 elites a run.

Watch Tower is good but hit n miss.

Cheat KD

This is mine with WotB and a 5 stack frenzy w/ Maniac. Oddly enough, Iron Impact isn't increasing it to 300% armour... Base is 12553 which aint 1/3 of 36k.

i think you'd be surprised, my resists are around 350, dps 16k (buffed), 29k life (not sure on other stats) with a 2 handed pole thing. i walk through inferno Act 1, laugh in the face of most of the affixes in whatever combo (though vortex + molten is not fun) and rarely die. if i do it's through stupidty or not paying attention. then i went to act 2. then went to act 1 again (i don't use the AH).

Yeah, that's pretty nice, but I'll admit to cheating a bit.... Tend to sit around 30k dps normally, and like 8k armour....

Is that with the 2H? I was wondering what your crit damage % was, because obv, using a 2h means you don't get double em gems... compared to dual wield

Also, I'm not sure my Frenzy damage on belt is added to my displayed DPS, because it doesn't apply to all damage...

It won't because it only applies to Frenzy. What I don't understand is why Frenzy's IAS doesn't seem to show either. Unless its done in some weird way so as not to cause DoT skills like Earthquake to do increased damage? Tbh I'm never really sure how attack speed factors in to skills like EQ that deal a set damage over a set time.
