Right, finally getting round to sorting my config out and had a few questions:

1. What FPS do people generally get? I get about 120-140 on the bot training map with a fairly minimal config, which is OK. More would be better though :p

2. Is there any way to disable to the player shadow (mine), but keep shadows from other players? I like seeing other player's shadows, but seeing my own shadow is distracting.

Hmmm just been playing this and it's all over the place.

Spawning with no visible weapon then not being able to change, rubber banding and weird graphical glitching.

uses to run a lot better in the beta....?

EDIT: 2 CTD and no gun again. Back to CS methinks.

Hmm, I have seen the no weapon glitch you speak of two maybe three times in hundreds of matches. Hardly a game breaker. The rubber banding and weird graphical glitches I have not seen and I have been playing this game constantly virtually for two weeks.

Try a repair.

Start > All programs > hi-rez studios > diags & support > validate/repair option.

Rubber-banding would indicate lag. Actually, spawning with no weapon could be due to that too. Check what region you have the game set to.
 
Cant say ive ever had those problems and ive played a lot since the it was closed beta.

Fps i get 50-60 which although is not great its ok for my old card and resolution i feel.
 
Joined a game with you Sundance, first time I've been in a stalemate, 3-3 it was.
I was playing a lame Pathfinder, had great fun though.

haha yes! I'll add you to my friends list if I haven't already. That was a crazy game. I was playing Jugg and spent 90% of the time in the enemy gen room getting cheap kills.

Were you on mumble? I keep forgetting to get on it, thinking I'd only be on it for one map... turned out to be a long one though :D
 
I've not got a mic at the moment and never really used one in game. Tribes is seriously inviting me to get one, I can see the use of it as invaluble in a real match.
