Cable or USB socket, cables can be easily replaced. TBH I haven't used the provided cable as I have a longer one that still allows good charging.
Pull the back off with a credit card and remove the sticky back foam tape that is pushing the screen away from the frame like I did? It probably will get worse if you don't, the screen is having pressure placed on it from behind which is why it's being pushed up. When the tablet gets hot it will mean the remaining glue is likely to fail.
This device is incredible! Only had a short play last night, got my apps down but havnt customized it yet.
No issues here *smug*
Mine was direct from GP, Im wondering if they are a second batch....
Its easy enough to say no issues, and then start noticing them a week or so later.
Give it time![]()
Tesco couldn't arrange a second swap out because "Computer says no" , it would result in a charge. So they've had to arrange things differently, but he said it would get sorted today and expect a courier tomorrow. Shame I won't be in.
Said they will try again on Friday though.
Think in future I will just buy everything from stores to save this hassle.
Well I just picked mine up from Tesco.
Their is very minimal screen lift, can't really tell at all. Their doesn't appear to be any dead pixels however the colours do look a little washed out. Not sure why that is.

So....no screen lift and auto brightness is on.
WINNER.
So you're not going to get another at the door replacement?
There is screen lift lol. I press it down but it pops back up shortly after. If I swap it out I risk getting one with more faults so I'm not sure what to do.
Edit. Turning auto brightness off helped so cheers for that.
loop the transformers or any other high def video while clamping it![]()
Ringing 11am GMT is around 5am their time and I still get 1 hour of wait.
In another note, for those wanting to use flash, Firefox is the most stable and compatible browser I have found for flash and jelly bean. All the flash features work (full screen included) and it doesn't crash every few clicks.
No need for tvcatchup just get myplayer pro. Works great on the Nexus7.
