Im pointing out that there are many reasons why its done, not just for religious reasons. Im trying to keep my personal beliefs out of it or attempting to do so.

As i told you then the line of debate follows earlier posters thinking they were on to something when they were asking "what are the actual medical benifits" once that was answered they moved on to a different line of attack or simply disappeared from the thread.

It has been a long thread, I don't recall you saying "The primary reason I am in favour of infant circumcision is because of my faith". Is that the primary reason you are in favour of infant circumcision?

I never said it wasn't. You claimed 'The Bible' specifically refers to Christianity. This is wrong.

The Bible (from Koine Greek τὰ βιβλία ta biblia "the books") is any one of the collections of the primary religious texts of Judaism and Christianity.

I don't agree with circumsiscion (it has a spurious basis in scripture to begin with) but you would be hard pushed to claim I was anti-Islam.

Also no i just checked the Wikipedia and there are three book that make up the Tenakh, The Torah, The Nevi'im and The Ketavim.

The notion of circumcisions being mandatory for Muslims is the implication that God's design for men was some how at fault.

I thought it was an obligation for a Muslim to believe and accept every action of god is perfect and without fault.

What you have stated in factually incorrect and doesnt warrant an explanation, you best of reseaching yourself. It is NOT why it is done in Islam, hence you had no question to ask
