Lewis has changed his driving style. I don't see that MP4-27 of his getting ragged about anymore really. There's the occasional old Lewis but he's very much changed his driving style imo. Looks a lot smoother, like today he was under pressure but just looked controlled and smoothed. More level headed than last season.

go watch the start again....

schumachers clearly on the correct side
schumachers clearly in the correct spot on the grid.

when it shows the car from behind and the stewards are rolling him off his gridspot the car is clearly lined up perfectly fine inside the box.


seeing as his telemetry box fried on the grid maybe his transponder wasnt working properly and the FIA thought he wasnt in the correct place on the grid.

video clearly shows he was fine regardless of what some people want to believe


if he wasnt in the right place or wasnt inside his box dont you think maybe one of the commentators would have noticed?

Just watched the aborted start on iplayer.

There is an un-naturally large gap in front of schumacher. Now pulling some images.

One shows the chap running with the green flag, but also the guy starting to wave the yellow.
 
its not an unusually large gap look on the left side of the grid towards the back maybe theres a gap on that side to though

theres no way anorther car could fit infront of schumachers
 
im not even gonna bother arguing hopefully a video of the start from the grandstand will turn up.

the rear wheels of the car infront are almost touching schumachers front wing you couldnt fit another car in there

the cars at the back are all far left in there boxes so they can see whats going on infront of them which makes the gap apear larger than it is but its just a trick with the camera angle
 
It's a huge gap in front of Schumacher.

Note the guy running across the back waving the green flag, while a chap is starting to wave the yellow flag. I'm guessing that the green flag guy is a little bit fired. ;)

Cars were all static at that point, CLEAR to see the gap in front of Schumacher there

As you go further back the cars gradually disappear behind each other more and more due to perspective until Schumacher where you can see the entire front of his car.

There is a full slot gap there, he was obviously a box too far back
