Olympic Track Cycling

Like what happened with Australia when it went a bit wrong for them?

Yep.
Looked to me like Bobridge was really strong in the Australian team (as the commentators pointed out), and thats not always an advantage. If you have a fast guy in your team it can make the pace go up when he has his shot on the front and the acceleration makes it difficult for the rest of the team, especially the guy who has just come off the front and is trying to get onto the back of the line again.

The communication is poor, especially when the gold medal winners don't even know that they are now the winners. I think that its not just the Olympics though, I'm sure at the Worlds they've been just as poor.

I dont understand how China get relegated from 1st to 2nd place, but GB got relegated from 2nd down to 8th? Surely they should have been relegated into the bronze medal fight?

I'm lost now. Why relegated and not DQ'd?

They still worked their way through to the final legitimately. It wouldnt be fair to lose eveything for a mistake in 1 race. Its fair that they lose that race though. So they get the silver medal for losing the final.

The same thng happened to GB.
