not liking the whole wife plot. and boy has she aged in the last 2 seasons :(

surely walt would just move out again? and live apart like last season?

hope skylar jumps off a building....

its become a bit too annoying and transparent.

Only thing that saves it, is if shes rocking the baby on her lap and then decides to throw the baby at walter....

Interesting facts I read today about the show.

On the season one DVD audio commentary, Vince Gilligan revealed that Jessie was originally going to die by the end of season one. However, they changed their minds after seeing Aaron Paul's performance.

Sony and AMC were initially reluctant to cast Bryan Cranston because of his previous comedic roles and considered both John Cusack and 'Matthew Broderick' for Walter White. When they both declined, Vince Gilligan got to cast Cranston.

and the funniest thing I have read today is....

During filming, the introduction of Wendy the prostitute was briefly interrupted when a non-actor attempted to pick up actress Julia Minesci, mistaking her for a prostitute.

lol :D

Meth Whore. lol.

I hope this all leads to where it looks like it will. The ending could be epic.

The other week when Hank's boss was talking about Gus saying he had him at his house etc. and how he never knew. It looked like Hank had a fraction of a second realisation then lost it.

The way they've grown Walt from a poor old school teacher with cancer to a drugs kingpin, from a sympathetic character, a hero if you will, to a sociopath is brilliant.

I think Walt will indeed kill Skyler. Jesse has to find out Walt poisoned the kid and we'll have an ending that'll top all endings before it.

I hope so anyway.

I don't think Walt will kill skylar as the only reason Walt is doing this is for his family. He wouldn't want to leave his kids without a mother or himself.

Saying that, I don't see good things coming Skylar's way. I can see her maybe being kidnapped, spilling her guts, or getting back into Walts business and become part of it again. She is already pretty much deep into it anyway. She would go down if the truth gets out.

Someone will be killed this season. Probably Mike. :(

I'm looking forward to this weeks episode, I follow Betsy Brandt (Marie Schrader) on twitter & she's been talking it up, so fingers crossed.

Annoying as she is, I think she's a necessary evil this season. Given the level Walt is now at he needs some form of obstacle and I think we can be certain they're saving the biggest ones for the end of the show.

Skyler is quite clearly the biggest victim of the entire show at this point. It's interesting how the actions of the men are seen as heroic and necessary, or at least justifiable, whereas the women who do the same are meddling, unreasonable, and heartless. People are still telling themselves that Walt is "doing it for his family", when he isn't, yet the person who is doing everything for hers is still seen as an evil bitch.

The fact that there are people in places on the internet telling Walt to "get control of his woman", calling her a "whore" and a "bitch" shows the kind of attitude they've adopted. The show itself challenged its own misogyny in the last episode, and hopefully that has struck a chord with some of the viewers too.

Anyone who holds the opinion that Walt "has to get control of his woman" is, frankly, an idiot.

One of the biggest themes of the show is how families are affected by this kind of life. Skylar's essentially become the moral driving point of the show, especially given the last episode where she is totally crushed by the weight she now has to bear when attempting to fit into the kind of life Walt has created in the name of "proving for his family".

Incidentally, I'd also argue that anyone who sees Walt's actions as justifiable in any capacity is deluding themselves. He's a bad man, Vince Gilligan has even said so himself about how he's surprised that people still find things to like in Walt when he simply can't find any himself anymore. That's really what makes this show special; demonstrating how the "noble" (if you want to call it that) intentions of Walt have been smashed to pieces by his own ego. It's difficult to write a show where the main character has no redeeming features whatsoever, but also brave. That's what makes this show equal parts brutal and brilliant.
