Not long to go now. Premiere airs on July 15th.

Remember its in two parts these season, Part II airs next year. 8 Episodes this year and 8 episodes next year. Its going to be torture waiting for Part II as you know Part I will end in a cliffhanger. Part I will probably end with Hank finding out the truth about everything.

This photo is the first look at the upcoming July 15 premiere of Breaking Bad Season 5: Part 1. There are a few things we immediately noticed that might be revealing about where we’ll pick up the story on July 15.

Walt still has the nose bandage. In the Season 4 finale, Walt was still heeling from his fistfight with Jesse, and he was sporting the same bandage on his nose. Judging on all the past season premieres of Breaking Bad, it looks like the final season will continue the tradition of picking up immediately after the prior season finale.

Jesse’s dressed...well. For Jesse. He no longer looks like such a Smurf in this photo. The jacket actually looks expensive, and his jeans aren’t slung below his butt. Is Jesse somehow growing up?

They’re standing in a flat field. No desert hills, and no signs of life in the distance. Plus, they’re clearly staring at the same thing — has someone driven them out here and stranded them? Are they being confronted by someone acting on Gus’ or the Salamanca family’s behalf?

cant wait

Can't believe this show has lasted 5 seasons. It never seemed like a series that would go more than 2 seasons. It just didn't have that longevity feeling to it in season 1. I always kept thinking to myself "where can they take this now?"

To be fair, I can't think of another show that does tend to drag things on abit too much, but I guess thats what makes it so appealing.

Kinda bummed out Gus won't be in season 5 as his charecter is such a cold hearted bad ass.

Bring on season 5.

Watched 4 seasons over a few weeks.. got hooked!
Looking forward to S5 but gonna start watching in september or november as I like to bulk watch these!

I'm not exactly sure where the show can go.. other than Walt getting out and Jesse going straight.

Season 4 was amazing.. here is hoping S5 is more of the same..

From what I've learned from previous seasons is to always expect the unexpected with this show.

A few things that are bount to happen though.

Walt will die.
Jesse will find out Walt poisoned the kid.
Hank will kill everyone.

I did find the season 2 to be a bit lame in parts and almost dragging it's heals a little but then from season 3 it really picked up again.

Season 1 did seem like it was meant to be a one off but then in season 2 you could kinda tell it might go on for another season because they tended to stretch it out a bit.

season 3 was jus awesome with the twins. It was so tense at parts.

I've never watched The Wire or The Sopranos but Breaking Bad is def my favorite to show right now.

Can't wait for the next season. I have to say tho that I think the best ever scene from the Breaking Bad series is the Hank Schrader vs The Twins car park scene, without a doubt the most epic action packed thing ever made.

I'd say the best scene in the entire series is when Walt walks into Tuco's den and blows it up and walks away like a total bad ass. Thats when Heisenberg was born.

Breaking Bad - This is not meth

and who can forget this. :D

1 more day to go before Breaking Bad month.

I am so excited. It doesn't feel like a year has passed since s4 finished as I have just been rewatching it so often. Still fresh in my memory.

Not sure how they can top s4 ep1. That was an epic episode to start a season out.

2 weeks, going to be epic. :D

Just finished watching season 4 just yesterday, tried to drag it out so I don't have to wait too long. Will watch the short catch up videos the day before I reckon to refresh everything.

That said I do think it could have just finished at season 4 really.

Guess it'll be about Hank finding out and what he does and how it plays out with Gus.

Hank always seemed a threat throughout season 4 and with Gus now gone and Walt having no real rival I just can't see where all the drama is going to come from. I'm sure I'll be proved wrong though.

Walt has plenty of Rivals. He did after all kill Gus, who probably has a lot of people working under him that won't be too happy their boss is dead. Whats stopping Mike from spilling the beans on Walt and giving hints to Hank?

Afterall, Mike was a cop before he became Gus's second hand man. He will want justice and doesn't really care too much about Walt.

Aaron Paul is utterly brilliant in this show.

He has won a few awards. Some of his performances are just brilliant. Fantastic actor, maybe the best in the show. He has played a spectrum of different charecters in the show. He really is a schizo.

Compare him now to the first episode. :p

Only a few days to ago.

Breaking Bad Season 5 To Get Dark, Real Dark

Speaking to USA Today, creator Vince Gilligan promised the series would get very, very dark, saying, "The gloves are off". Though the once happily married family man Walt has already boiled his victims, strangled one with a bike lock and shot drugs kingpin Gustavo - he's set to go even further. Gilligan joked, "Honestly, it surprises me to hear people say they love Walt.I don't like Walt as a human being. I pretty much lost sympathy for him long ago. He's a damaged individual". Season five sees Walter continuing his journey into the underground, despite facing several close calls last time out. Hollywood star Cranston says it doesn't surprise him that his character refuses to settle down, saying, "He's not the kind to say: That was a close call. I'm out.Walt has changed so drastically over the years". Gilligan says the 16 episode finishing run is the perfect amount to end the bloodbath of a story, saying, "It's a blessing, because you know what to parcel out, at what point. We have a strong idea of what the ending will consist of".

Sorry. Didn't know we had spoiler tags enabled. Have enclosed inside them now.

Its ok.

He had to be fully recovered anyway. This season has to be heavily focused on Hank finding out the truth. It was ovbious he would be up and walking about. Not sure if he is back as a full time D.E.A. agent though?
