*** Official OcUK Minecraft Server - Discussion and Rules ***

I've seen it mentioned on here before a few times that waterproof BC pipes were the only BC pipes to be promoted for use as the RP tubes don't offer a fluid carrying equivalent. However, I didn't realise BC pipes were outright banned from use. Only in situations were storage space would cause entity lagging symptoms.

Either way, as a player, I would promote tubes over pipes simply due to the fact they carry inherent logic in their actions.

From the quarry rules. As far as i'm aware my BC pipes are confined so should be ok.

FT I'm not stressed mate, I'd like to get a video of it working before it was removed though, looks nice :D

i suspect that is for buildcraft pipes coming out of a quarry only, but feel free to prove me wrong on that part

Yeah. I just don't want there to be any bad blood or anything like that :)

Yrth's rules about build pipes were put in place for a reason (but I agree we should add details to the actual Rules page). However, as per most rules, the spirit of them might be different to the actual wording. The main reason these were put in place were to stop broken pipes dumping piles of items everywhere and if your machines aren't doing that (and there is no danger of them doing so) then I don't think that it's a big deal.

..... Just haveing a good look around and i came across a very spectacular property, no idea who it was but i apologise for jumping up and down outside your living area window just incase you thought i might be a burglar or something unpleasant :D

'Ere just a healthy curiosity, nice place whoever it was no trees plenty sandstone and whatever cows were there seem to have followed me home hurrah!! :D

**Edit** Now i think about it maybe not a good idea lots of sansdstone buildings at sea-level .... global warming rising ocean levels etc :)

Is this problem because of optifine? I can't seen to stop it happening every now and then.

55k EU per bucket D: That's worse than the oil fabricator! (Although a full MFSU provides 200 buckets of oil which when you think about it, it's a lot. :p)

Is it possible to have a never ending supply of Lava to pump?

practically infinite would be a frame powered lava pump in the nether. you could use my favourite mechanism to get lava buckets deployed against a small tank then moved into an ender chest where they can be taken out again and deployed into the main silo

*edit*
if you have forestry installed then there is a bee that can indirectly produce lava:

the sinister/fiendish/demonic bees can produce simmering combs. in a centrifuge these have a 90% chance of producing phosphor. 2 phosphor + 1 cobble, 1 sand or 1 dirt gives a fair amount of lava. so a battery of pure-bread nether bees along with a cobblegen is an infinite source of lava that doesnt cost millions and billions of EU
