Has anyone come across any plans lately? I've not seen a single drop (that wasn't Exalted and 1 of the pieces you get given at lvl10 Blacksmith) for a very long time.

Depends on class really, my WD sits on 40-45k depending on gear but I cut through act 3 pretty quickly now thanks to 102 mana regen even though i dropped like 17k DPS compared to using the Skorn that dropped.

Thanks. I don't know what I will end up being but I am at the moment just trying to increase both crit chance and dmg. HP is at around 40k. Not a bad number to be at. But if my dmg increases I think I can afford to see it drop a tad. Also still looking for another 1h to dual wield. One with mucho loh would be nice. My current 1h has around 1050 dps so something similar is required. I have around 20mln but don't want to use it all at the moment.

I had an exalted 5 prop off hand Wizard plan drop yesterday in Act IV. Off an elite early on. I really need to lvl my BS as i'm starting to build up quite a collection of plans. Sitting at around 7 I think. A couple of duplicates but I don't know what they are off the top of my head.

If anyone fancies some coop later/ over the weekend let me know. Some four player action could be fun. Act's III/IV.

Alkaizer just got to level 100, first in the world I believe. I only hope I get anywhere near that before being bored to death of the same class, back to getting level 10!

What do we consider good dmg these days?

My Monk is sitting at around 42k which I know isn't fantastic

Sounds pretty good for a Monk? My housemate is around 22k at the moment and whilst he can stay alive in act3 against most mobs it takes him ages working through it :p

I'm back up to 60k dps with my Barb again, trying to work my all resist up so Act3 isn't quite as tricky as it can be against some mobs.

22k. I remember those days. It is surprisingly easy though to hit 40k, you don't need millions. You just need to make sure you have some decent crit chance/dmg gear with fairly high-ish Dex. I try and go for attack speed also where I can. I'm trying to get a ring at the moment but the one I want is over 10mln which I feel is a lot. Since I play coop mostly the mobs go down fast enough, i'll wait it out for more to hit the market.

I noticed in Act III it was hard to stay alive around 20k-ish dmg because I couldn't take down elites fast enough on my own. That and life steal on low dmg = low hp back. Your friend is doing well - more so if he is playing solo :). I didn't realise how important stacking resistance was until inferno too. A huge bonus to monks with the passive that boosts all others. But when you hit high enough dmg you can change that mantra to another that helps with even more dmg :)

If it literally insta sold you probably had it on too cheap. What was it?

It may have been very well priced too :). I don't mind "losing" a few gold pieces on a sale if the item sells fast.

True. 18 mil is good for me.

My character. DPS is at like 60k without SS and 97k with. Just need to boost my dex a little and get some more crit dmg and I should be good to go! .. Zero res basically :P

His character is just such a tanky build. Everything has a bit of all resist and poison resist, with the resist mantra I think he is on around 900+ resists with a decent shield. Most of his gear also has extra armour and health regen.
He doesn't want to lose out on the armour or health regen so he's doomed to do no dps :p I keep telling him but he won't listen :D

His reply is that he dies less in Act3 than me. lol

anyone have any idea if this is worth anything? I am not sure when it comes to mojo's and was thinking that because of the high(ish) + damage and good int/vit/crit chance plus magic find it must be worth a little something? I am struggling when it comes to searching the AH for similar.

really enjoyed my monk up to hell, now im really finding it quite tough!
anyone got a few tips? must have talents and is it better to have a 1h+shield? im using the passive that adds dodge for dual wielding, not sure which is better tbh (apart from the added armor from the shield but lower dps?)

Resists are mandatory, but being a monk, you can use the trait that lets you gain resist all from 1 trait, so you can just stack 1 resist type.

I haven't used a shield for .... ages. I just use the extra dodge and dual wield. Quite happily farming act 3 (when I can be arsed) with only the occasional death.

Yes mate its only useful in WW setup,

ahh nice, well i can give it a try if you like, if its no good ill pass it back or to someone who wants it :D

i was watching the videos of that alzekiser or whatever his name was and it looked like he wasnt bothered killing anything that was elite, wonder if thats his secret? be interesting to see exactly how much xp certain mobs give you

cheers, will carry on using DW then, working on resists, only about 200ish atm though :(
