But were you already running v1.2.5 before downloading that?

The problem I have is that MC automatically updates itself from a fresh install... I have no access to 1.2.5 at all. That's what I need first.

tested this and it works fine.
the versons in the mod shown have been updated to newer ones with that issues fixed

at the time i expect the mods were new but that vid was probably filmed a couple of weeks ago

good to hear that its not a problem though
 
5punk, I went on server just now and have emptied my inv into the chests. Then I found the stone tower you must have used to copy my build.
Does this mean that the stuff I put in chests today won't be on the new server? (Forgot to empty inv before requesting build move)

If its just your armor and some tools no worries.
 
Anyone able to give me a headsup on whats happening?

There is talk of a new server? What will that bring? Will it be a completely new map? Same rules?

New map but old builds copied across (there's a thread on linktart where you can provide the details we need to copy your build). Server rules will be the same, perhaps with slight expansion/clarification of some.

We hoped to get a server launched for testing over the weekend but that didn't happen - I imagine we'll get one sorted next week sometime and then we'll get the live server moved over within a week of that.
 
I just tried making a Crafting Table III and it appears fine in the crafting bench, but when I click on it, it kicks me from the game. Is this an id glitch? I know we are close to a new version, but having it would be great :D

CT3 has not been updated
so wont be added we are however useing
quick bench. it does have some issues
as in dont have a lot of stuff in your invintory

crafting table + Book will make it.

You said that you have copied the builds already, does that mean that it is a waste of time me building anything else? For example, I just build a HV Solar Array, does that mean that it won't be in the new world?
 
Being unable to log in at the moment, is there anyway I could arrange to have a couple of builds moved over at all? It would be nice not to lose stuff if there is a chance of sorting out my log in in the near future... Ta.

These copies are just test copies atm..please make sure they seem good so far and we will copy up to date ones when we move the server over.

I'm still not sure why you can't log in. You don't need to install Minecraft separately so you just download the launcher and run it from there. As you're on Mac you may need another mac launcher to replace the one that is there - I was hoping Mac user could comment and I'll post on linktart now to see if anyone can.

Is the LT launcher built on 1.2.5 then as whenever I run it, it decides to update :confused:
