Apple have a 14 day returns policy - They should just take the phones back if they're not happy with them!

My work wireless is like its on steroids now. Used to get 6mb download and now get ~25mb/sec with 40mb upload.

Streaming 4k movie previews off youtube is fun!

You're completely missing the point. If you spent £700 on a new 3 piece suite and your arm chair had a dent or a mark on it you'd be annoyed and want a refund or a replacement, if you spent £700 on a new dining table and there was a mark on it you'd be annoyed as well. It's the same as anything you buy, you want it to be the best quality. Whether you have a bank balance of £1 or £10m, £700 is a lot of money for a phone and it should be in pristine condition when you get it. It should perform and look aesthetically perfect not scratched or marked out of the box or have flakes of coating come off when you put it in your pocket. Why anyone would settle for anything less is mind boggling.

Ok sorry I must have missed the out of the box thing, I couldn't agree more... On receipt it should be flawless and if its not send it back instantly and yes I'd be far from happy!

After that hammer time, sorry for the confusion :(

This is my gripe.. Out of the box, any product should be flawless.

If there are delicate surfaces etc then you take a risk, but you've no chance when it arrives damaged. I like to look after my things, so it's even more annoying.

Bonkers paying £700+ for a mobile phone!

Not really. It's a lot of money, but you're paying it up front rather than over the term of a contract.

Example. The works plan is £36 over 24 months.. £864 plus handset / upgrade costs.

Still bonkers. I always drop my mobile! I would hate to drop a £700+ mob! Giffgaff and a cheap mobile is my preference

It's funny those who question the price yet their 18/24th month contracts probably surpasses the amount :p

And thats exactly why I purchased it. Cheapest works out at well over £1100 for 64GB. Thats contract for 2 years which your tied to and the cost of the handset.

Atleast buying it means you can get rid of it in a year or when ever and be tied to nothing.

But at least you get 24 months of minutes and calls and internet allowance for that price? If you just buy the handset you then have to sort out a contract on top unless i'm missing something?
