*** iPhone 5 - Revealed! ***

Went to apple store earlier and picked up 2 black phones. Couldn't see any scratches on either of them. So went to the orange store opposite and paid a deposit for a black 32gig. Now to got to wait patiently...
 
Trying to restore my iPhone 5 from an iTunes backup from my 4 (both iOS6)... it restores OK, e.g. all system settings etc, but none of my none default apps or music have synced across (camera roll has).

When I plug it into my Mac it prompts me to set up as new phone or restore from backup, I don't seem to be able to get past this, e.g. to the menu where you can see your apps etc.

Any thoughts?
 
Why don't apple make the accessories the same colour as the phone you pick?

If you order a black iphone, it would be nice to have a black cable + charger and black headphones, not having it all white.
 
The headphones are better than the original apple ones but still no-where near as good as Sennheiser cx300 which cost me £20

my cloud back on my 4s and restore to ip5 has worked fine. Not sure if its messed up any settings but seems fine to me
 
So I got a new iPhone 5 from apple store in Sheffield on 3 so much much happier. Returning the O2 one tomo for a full refund and cancelling that contract seeing as its still in the 7 day cool off period.

Now the only problem is, is the new one I got tonight has a small dent on the silver band :( didn't check it in store,doh! Can't drive back to Sheffield either as its 60 miles each way. I rang them up and they said ring apple care and they send me a new one and pick this one up upon delivery.

Couple of Qs, are apple care good at this? Is it prompt delivery and will I get a sealed new iPhone 5 :(?

Had a look and play with my mates iPhone 5 today and IMO it feels and looks cheap compared to the 4s and the screen is still too small! My mate was over the moon with it because he can take panoramas!

After seeing and using one in the flesh I still believe I made the right choice in switching to SG3 :)
 
I currently have 1% of battery left with the following stats:

Usage: 6 hours 5 minutes
Standby: 14 hours 48 minutes

I've been browsing on the 5 while at work a lot today as the proxy servers were blocking a lot of content so I'm happy!

After playing with an IP5 in the apple store I have to agree that it does feel cheap compared to the IP4 and IP4S.
 
It does feel a bit light but it flies

Personally I would have been more than happy with a same sized phone as the 4s with A6 processor and big fat battery. Maybe chuck in 1gb more ram too
