I'm not. Not getting change is like giving a tip, not warranted unless exeptional service was provided.
The only time I ever say keep the change is getting a takeaway at my door or getting out of a taxi and I don't really care as I just want to get inside/eat my food.
I always get my change handed to me with the receipt. Why should you be embarrassed about it? If you bought a car for £2995 would you let them keep the £5?

Indeed normaly most stores are fione and hand it over without issue.
It's the little **** shops that try it on for god knows what reason. one of them looked at me like i was demented when i was stood there waiting for my 5p change before he suddenly "remembered" :/
I've never seen this either. The nearest you get is charity shops putting a change tin on the counter and sort of nodding towards it. But they still give the change to you, along with the decision.
