Hey guys,

Could you spec me a rig for £750 and not a penny over which has;
an avermedia live gamer HD
an asus xonar 7.1 sound card that has an optical audio slot
an dvd/ blu-ray combi drive
windows 7
and the best air cooler that you know with three of the best 140mm fans that you know

Thanks.

Any of the top dual tower coolers will run great with one or two fans. The included ones are all up to the task.
Adding a third would get maybe 1-2°C improvement.
Do it for looks if you're gonna do it.

Not sure if you'll get a dual tower cooler in the budget off the top of my head. There ae a couple in the B grade section though...

It's possible, but the Avermedia thing kinda sucks the budget from quality core components. £750 would be fine otherwise.

hang on, I'll have a go.

Thanks, he wants to use his pc for xbox and pc recording.

Even worse news he only has a £500 budget and still wants the live gamer HD and Asus xonar 7.1. He doesn't want a gaming rig just something that can occasionly record battlefield as a maximum.
