Ever since owning the game I have always had small random lag spikes whilst playing. It seems to be worse when I first log into the game and first use the abilities anyone else had this?

The wife had this terrible on her machine as well and I tried every tip and trick I could find on the internet and simply put Diablo 3 doesn't seem to like slow mechanical drives. She was using a WD Scorpio blue, swapped my Samsung F3 onto her machine and lag gone. I swapped us to these now and still no lag issues.
 
I've just done 4 runs on MP4 for the Act 3 key and got nothing. Quit the game, logged back in and did 2 runs and got 2 keys.

Starting to see some truth in the whole RNG thing cos you definitely seem to get a run of lucky drops, log out, then get sod all when you come back.

Edit: We then did an MP5 uber run and I got all 3 organ drops.

What does all this mp chat relate to ? I see a lot of people posting about mp3 and mp5 that what does it actually mean ?

Your gear is a bit all over the shop tbh. With a few tweaks you should easily be able to faceroll MP 3/4 no problem.

Your OWE is wasted at the moment as you only have 2 pieces with the same resist (fire) on and this is only gonna give you something like 70 res all. If you are gonna use a shield it should really have some sort of res on it too.

Also where is the crit chance?!!! Helm/rings/ammy should all have crit chance before you start working on attack speed/crit dmg. This will benefit your cyclone dps output quite a bit.

The biggest issue preventing you farming higher lvls is probably your lack of LoH or Life Steal. With your dps at 40k you are best off currently with LoH however that is going to be quite expensive to achieve especially if you are going down the sword and board route. Cheapest way l would be to buy a cheap OH around 700 dps with ~700 LoH and or LS if you can get one with dex/vit on it great as your vit is currently pretty low. Alternatively sell that Echoing Fury and buy yourself a slightly lower dps 1H with some crit dmg and Loh/LS.

I would be tempted to drop the shield for a LoH/LS offhand and switch to guardians path instead of Resolve.

Seriously starting to get miffed off now, logged onto diablo about 5 days ago on my new laptop and got locked out. Submitted a ticket with my ID attached and still havent heard a peep from them. Not even a confirmation. Any1 else not getting any info from support?
 
Finally got a key last night, but its taken ages, and managed a further 10 runs without any luck.

How quickly did people get their Machines? I'll hit 100 before I ever manage to get one at this rate!
 
Guys I'm just getting back into playing again but I'm a bit stuck with my wiz gear/build.

So I'm currently farming mp0 act3 fine (few deaths to bad combo's here and there) but would obviously like to progress to higher mp. I've tried the Archon build but found it quite boring, but maybe that's because i lacked the correct stats to pull it off correctly.

Any advice / gear suggestions? I think I can put together a measly 3m for new gear right now.

add me and I'l run you through a higher MP so you get more keys :) well at least a better chance..

on MP7 i'm usually like 8 out of 10 tries is a key. :)

At a glance. Your right ring is pretty dire. You should be able to get hold of higher stats with crit chance without too much expense. Your gloves are also pretty poor too. 5.5% crit chance is miles off the max, even if it does have the benefit of armour and phys res.

@Frij, surely by definition MP7 is 7 out of 10 tries :p
 
quite a productive day following the advice passed on here. for just over 1m i changed shoulders, chest, belts, pants, boots, bracers and gloves. i got a couple of ring drops that were improvements during the game to so stats now stand at 40k dps, 50k life, 748 res, 5k armour.



also big thanks due to an ocuker who added me as a friend and gave me a skorn 2 hander with a socket which kept my dps high. thanks Buroklo99.
