Does the kraken have a bigger pump? I assume by bigger you mean greater output? A bigger radiator would have a significant effect on the flowrate.
The corsair is 0.1 hp and the kraken is 0.07 hp. They are not close. Also that is not how you work out hp.
I haven't found any specs on either Kraken X60 or H100i pumps.
Bigger radiator may or may not effect flow rate. Depends on what size it's core tubes are... and there are more of them to flow coolant.. but they are actually about 15-16% longer. Keep in mind the flow area of hoses to and from radiator are probably much smaller than total core flow area.
All very important. I think it best to see what the benchmarks say, the amount of variables and in particular unknown variables means being certain at this stage is not possible.
How did you calculate those hp specs. Their amp rating don't indicate that kind of power difference.

You calculate horsepower from the CFM and static pressure.
You can also calculate HP based on the energy a motor uses and factoring in it's efficiency.
My guess is in this case using their power consumption specs is probably more accurate than using their airflow specs.
And your calculations being vastly different than mine means the specs are not accurate.. either the amp specs or the airflow specs are way off.

Yes, if the CFM and static pressure are accurate. I know calculations using watts are dependent on motor efficiency but I think it's fair to assume both motors here are pretty much the same design so about same efficiency. HP results of .07 and .1 HP are drastically different than 1.75a and 1.8a or 21w and 21.6w... and they should be similar.
H100i wattage is .028% more than X60
You say H100i fan is .43% more powerful than X60 fan.
That's a long way from being similar. I cannot believe we can get a 43% increase in power with a .028% increase in wattage. Defies what I learn in physics.
The reviews in my opinion are not very accurate. So far the H100i suffers fan noise on the stock firmware and the updated fixed firmware has killed the controller on the H100i unit on a number of units including mine. It offers very little benefit over the H100 other than it looks better.
The cooler you have is superb so i would stick with that. As soon as I can be bothered my H100i is going back and a D14 is going back in far less hassle and just as good if not better cooling.

You shouldn't work out the efficiency of fans like that, its considered bad practice. Like Delta said calculating it from the pressure/airflow is much better.

Well you can get a 100% reduction in power by snapping off the fan blades
just because two motors use similar wattage doesn't mean the fans their spinning are designed equal.

I think that's the problem with reviews nowadays. They are just tested for the results and totally ignore the user experience or the quirks they might hold.
