Some nice additions there. I had thought of using a soj as well but not considered how crit chance would stack with max fury and HoTA. Do you manage to keep max fury most of the time then to maintain the high crit chance %?

Yes I keep max fury all the time. I keep r mouse button held and get constant overpower going and then just spam HOTA and I'm full fury and 35% reflect up constantly and constant WOTB. Very easy to have full fury when farming, but you do need my crit chance and attack speed to keep WOTB going on single target ie ubers. I can now solo MP7 ubers easily except kulle/siege which can be hit and miss. I think mp8 or9 would be doable for other 2.

Ive got a hota cold soj and having 15 extra fury is pretty sweet now that 100 fury means 100 crit chance.

It's not 100% just from having full fury, but I have 170 fury which equates to 34 crit, 14 extra over base level max fury. max fury stat is cheaper than crit chance though. 99% crit chance is sweet and also means your healing is very consistent

Ahhh i see, that will teach me for not reading tool tips properly! :D

Thats means gear depending after adding everything up i hit the 100% crit chance at full fury with wotb up at 3ish attacks per second = beastly. Its definately a lot of fun, i run a slightly different build aswell, i use killing spree and marathon for more speeeeeeeeed!!!! :p

bad maths and forgot im using my witching hour, gear depending its between 95 and 98% crit chance, still thats some nice odds for a crit :D

To be honest I would think you would make it work with your gear now. You would probably need bash or frenzy to help generate fury. If you wanted to avoid a fury generator you need more crit +/- reduced HOTA cost gear. but otherwise you are fine. My build and gear is a lazy mans setup so I can play from mouse only and very safely, which means I can play with my 6 month old on my lap which was my original aim

1.43 at the moment. 1.52 if I swap hellfire back to my old ring.

fast hammers are pretty important, not sure what the lowest speed u can get away with is, give it a go and see. It will def b weird seeing u zoom about :p

also if u drop the skorn for dw u will definately b fine, not sure that will fly with u tho

yep i use bash with hota thunderstrike or smash with overpower killing spree and marathon plus normal ww skills, into the frazy, thrive etc. But like heeeeds build u can mix it up abit to suit ur gear/playstyle.

cant post profile at work, check it on bnet if ur on.

Tried the build, worked OK for me but I think with my level of gear at the moment WW works better for the moment. Maybe I will give it another go once I get some nicer equipment!

Does everyone end up farming for gold and then using AH to get equipments to boost stats rather than rely on drops?

I am finding it that the majority of drops are of little use, even legendary items. Also been getting duplicates of legendary items too e.g got two spirit stones for a Monk and I am using a DH. Come to think about it I seem to be getting a lot of monk stuff.

I think it is strange for for a game to randomly generate drops, that you end up getting lots of similar items. Anyone else find this?

Theres been so much inflation of gold that farming for millions and millions of gold purely through gold drops is never going to get you anywhere.

You farm for items which you then sell for gold and use to buy items useful to yourself. So when an item drops thats no good for you, don't class it as junk, think if its useful to some other class. If it is, sell it.

Gold really is just a medium for trading items rather than something you collect in game to buy items.

yeah drops are frustrating at best. it's possible to gear up to act 1 inferno by finding stuff, but as you get higher through the difficulties (and MP level) the gear improvement window narrows and the stuff you need becomess really specific. the chances of that dropping are very slim, so AH it is.

in terms of drop variety it does vary, sometimes i get loads of wizard stuff, sometimes loads of Dh stuff no real pattern to it. in terms of legendaries, I've probably only had 12 or so since the 1.05 patch, 4 of which are duplicates (2 mighty belts and 2 shields). tbh i'm generally happy that one drops :D

98% goes to vendor, the odd item I can sell for maybe 50k at best. I mostly use what I find as upgrades on AH cost 10's of millions that I don't have.

I did buy a triumvirate recently though for 27k. :D

Got some few items up for grabs if anybody is interested.
Just post your profile and I'll whisper when I'm online.

Edit: all gone now.
