There is no official Quicksand one, Rock do a case but it's shiny and not Quicksand textured it seems, the fake ones look crap :p

I don't want to use a case on this though really, maybe one of those "skin" case sticker things would be better in the long run.
 
Yeah the nillkin cases look great, if I where getting a hard plastic case for any phone it would be between that and the rock quicksand and if I wanted protection on all edges then the diztronic matte TPU case.

PS. You still running the same layout? :p Going to need some new dock icons soon :p :D
 
I have that Nillkin case. 2 Infact. I ordered the wrong colour, couldn't cancel the brown one, so I ordered the black one as well.

It's horrible. Offers no protection, leaves the crucial sides unprotected, and offers NO protection to the screen. It's light, weak, and actually makes it harder to grip the phone because it's so slippery to hold.

Please don't buy it, trust me! I bought a temporary cheap one off ebay

Questions - it says wireless by rooting only, is this still true on the Note II? I'm not going to root.

If using the cable is it just plug and play?

Is the PS3 controller charged from USB?

Will it work on all games?
 
I think the nillkin cases look nice. They are light so add little weight or bulk to the phone yet with the textured back they add plenty more grip to the phone. The do offer some but not much protection since the edges are slightly raised from the screen. The dark brown case on the grey phone looks nice!

As for playing with ps3 pad wirelessly, yes you need to be rooted AFAIK.

Not so much accessories, but more your thoughts having had the thing for a little while now.

If you had the choice to go back to the S3, given you have all the extra screen space, would you?
 
Ah cool, that question will be answered tonight after the first day at work based on the same usage as the S3 :)
 
Which charging dock would you recommend? I had the zenus dock for my s3 which I think you recommended and it was good.
