Borderlands 2 release date confirmed ( Launch trailer also )

The new dlc sounds good, although they apparently thought the other DLC was too easy and have made it harder. If it is too hard to enjoyably play solo I will be really ****ed off.

I find the other DLC at lv50 to be just right. Still often takes a few headshots to down an enemy and I get downed a fair bit. I really don't want to be having to shoot an enemy 15 times in the face as it gets boring very fast.

This is my new favourite gun :cool:. Bought from the Torgue vending machine after doing the bar brawl a few times. Awesome for getting second winds and very close combat.

Hope It'll scale with the level so I can buy it again at a higher level once the cap is raised...

BL2 is pretty bad for body shots too, it took 5 body shots to kill a Bandit last night, in fact; it's so bad that i only target the head and that's with a 33 000 damage Jakobs..... i cant wait for a decent shooter, roll on R6 Patriots
 
With the pistol above it doesn't matter where you hit them :D. But its useless at anything more than a few meters away.

EDIT: Wow, just got 2 x Legendary classmods from killing Pyro Pete.

when i'm down and out, which is quite often, i use either the Torque shotty or Sledge's shotgun with 24% extra ****, i prefer Sledge's, but if i'm shot at range i dont bother, i hit the E Key straight away and start again.

i dont use Conference Call much, i havent used it for weeks, it's not as good as Sledge's at close to mid range, Sledge's also shoots down the Buzzards better too, only takes one blast.

the 24% extra **** relic makes the gun the most powerful i've got..... i think !
 
Mal you've been moaning about BL2 since release and saying you're moving on to Far Cry 3 when it comes out. Now FC3 is here and you're still moaning about BL2? :confused:

yea i've skippped getting FAR CRY 3... for now, i'll get it when it's a tenner, it just doesn't excite me enough

I'm after Ghost sniper 2/ bioshock, but the one i'm really after is Rainbow 6 Patriots, i fancy playing a more realistic tactical shooter, until then i'm ok with BL2

It's technically a better shooter than the 2nd game, but the 2nd game is of course much more varied and much vaster.....the first game has miles better sniper rifles and these are found lieing on the ground all the time, they're not Legendaries like now....this 2nd game is bad for loot.
 
Hi, I've just finished the first play through and now I have the option to play Vault hunter mode. If I select this mode am I locked into this from this point onward? or do I still have the option to select normal mode?

You also might want a friend or 3 to play with through TVH mode, the bosses aren't too bad, but the shear amount of badass & super badass enemies will ruin your day.
 
Loving this game, had it free with my gfx card.

The most similar game I've played is Dues Ex, but the content is far more fun in this :)

Anyone else find Zero levelling slowly? I'm on the Wildlife Preserve and other than a few lucky Crit shots with my sniper rifle, certainly a jump in difficulty. I've been doing side-missions from the very start, to maximise XP, but finding I'm very quickly overwhelmed.

The couple of times I've opened my game to public hasnt helped, similar level (20) gunzerkers and engineers just run ahead to the bosses!
