Cant believe I just went £80 instead of nabbing one of the last 3 £20 options left. Presume those will keep coming back up as others as dumb as me go for the higher options.

Book and soundtrack maybe worth £6-£10?

Month early beta access could be worth it to those super competitive types who want a leg up on multiplayer - can certainly see me trying it. So that was the £50 justified in fell swoop.

I usually don't rate all the DLC on most games combined as worth >£5. And expansions rarely cost £20. But again....

So £80 less well off, but its Elite! :D

Edit: And I might be interested in those models if they are a self build kit type?
 
Upped my pledge to £150. Think it's going to be tesco value beans for dinner for the next few weeks :D

I'm so stupidly excited about this game which is a bit embarassing for someone of my age. Frontier are bad for exploiting my childhood memories and abusing the fact that gamers of the 80s now have a bit of disposable income.

ahhhhhhhh can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait. :o
 
Aye, I'm actually shocked at my own level of excitement for this. I have literally not felt like this for well, how pathetically sad but I don't care (I'm sure the strife would have some words mind!) absolutely joyous!
 
Maybe OcUK should pledge a bit too to get their name on a planet, system, etc. Cheap targetted advertising?
 
what size ships are you able to control in this? is it just single man "fighter" class ships and cargo style ships? Or are you able to control capital class (i.e. massive ships?)

The CEO of where I work is a massive fan (he actually has two BBC Micros in his office). He has pledged enough to get a planet named after the company.

Its going to happen mate, he has promised it as an update, the thing about David is that he wants the planets to look good and knows that its going to take a while to do that... its one of the reasons that I have backed it so highly I trust David to deliver

All sizes, captial, fighter, cargo... ALL of them... Panther clipper was huge in Frontier :D

I use to drive one of those big wagons between the stars with a SPA bolted on the front, trading illegal goods - always used to tip up at the small space stations where the local police were happy to take a bribe.

Had to upgrade to the Griffin Carrier though in FFE :)

Never got FFE working use to bomb out on me all the time... good old days of Frontier, nothing could touch the clipper :)
