Geforce Titan rumours.

Oh so you're buying Titan too then.

It makes sense now.

I'd have thought that was obvious by the fact that I said I wanted to run games on all 3 of my 2560x1440 monitors

please suggest another graphics card combo capable of gaming on 3 full res monitors and you might get me interested in something you have to say

This is brilliant and perfect for single card machine, now all I need to do is hibernate for 2 years wake up and buy two off the members market :D

Greg, he did this all over the 6** release as well, turned every 680 or 670 thread in to a tirade of vitriol and about how anyone who bought them would be an idiot to do so... and then bought 2 of them himself

Yer I remember it all to well :(

It makes sense to get them for that res screens. Even for 5760x1080, anything newer, turned up to full with 2*680's would struggle or would hit the VRAM limit.

Good luck and I look forward to comparing bench results :)

seems like quite the monster, no point whining about the price, if you can't afford it, it isn't aimed at you

looking forward to seeing the overclocked performance at some different resolutions

Good post, if performance is like that at stock I'm getting one despite the ridiculous price lol.

Been waiting for a decent single card for a long time. Now it's finally here. Paying the extra for having it now rather than later. When they get cheaper I'll add another for SLI :p.

At this very moment a 7970 can be had for £269 with about 8 free games.

A mate of mine bought one last week and got £60 for the games.

That means that 7970 Crossfire is around £420 right now.

CAn you link that 7970 with 8 free games please!! 2 is the most that I have seen. And I can't see any at £269.

Where is that from? Also, they compared it to a 680 only, lol.

Kaap, what is your current list of cards at the mo? A few 690's, a couple of of 7970's + a couple of 5970's right?
Not asking you to justify it or anything, just curious :)

A nice card but when you look at the price simply a terrible purchase compared to a stock 7970 or 680.

Of course if you want the absolute fastest single GPU and money is no object you will be fine but seriously triple the cost of a 7970 for ~40% the gain, words fail me.

It isn't just me it's pretty much every one. Nvidia extracting the urine again and people being a bit annoyed. Hardly angry.

^^ This

AMD get royally slammed everytime there is a paper-launch, yet this is embargoed to the point cards will likely be on sale before "real" numbers come to light.

Guru3d stated that they can't provide benches as the drivers won't be ready for another 2 days... what rubbish.

<flame>Well to be honest, at least it isn't held together with woodscrews this time, or a rebrand of a 4 generation old product</flame>

Reviewers getting excited about "Overclocking your monitor" LOL
Seriously - even all of the LCDs I have owned - if you actually bother to install a driver you can choose 75Hz instead of 60Hz... 120Hz instead of 60Hz... doh, yes because it uses the panel from a 3d monitor that has to do 120Hz.... Anything else - you are going to damage the monitor or it simply will do nothing.

2 x gtx 590s

2 x HD 5970s

I used to have more but gave some of the old ones away.
