I have been itching to upgrade my 580 and it's nice to run from Day 0. Makes you feel your getting your moneys worth. Hopefully get 3 years out of it.

What's your setup?

Single monitor 1080 you'll get more benefit from a 7970/7950 now then buying the new gpu out at the end of the year.
 
Voltage control is available on these cards though it's locked off as soon as you hit the power target/tdp. No amount of extra volts or cooling will take it beyond this limit.

So in short this needs a modded bios already to stretch its legs.

Look forward to future owners results though :)

Ahh it's just a videos watched said that they will be voltage unlocked if you agree it takes life away from the card. Also that won't void your warranty. Someone posted similar information earlier.

I was hurting having to buy 2 but dipped into the holiday funds to pay for the second (with the wifes permission). :D

Can't wait and I don't care if anyone tells me I have made a mistake because I have made plenty in life and I will make plenty more :D

Hope it all works out for you Greg and you enjoy your purchases and don't live to regret it. As long as you're happy that's all that matters at the end of the day.
