**** Official Titan owners thread. ****

Mine is roughly twice as fast as my 580gtx. Bumped all the graphics up in BF3 from high/no-AO to ultra/HBAO and still get more FPS than before, game looks really beautiful now.

I think a 580gtx is similar to a 660Ti, so would give fairly similar performance to a pair of 670's unless you are playing something with near perfect Sli scaling :)

Titan arrived and installed, it is a beast. Taken both top spots for Firestrike 3D Mark and Heaven Valley benchmarks, that was on the first run and air cooled :P.

I may put this under water one day to see what it can really do. Happy with air cooler for now, it looks so nice :p.

I've already done 2945 on air so don't expect to keep the top spot for very long :D

Ah no worries. :)

I can extrapolate based on your dual card results anyway (Assume around +80% scaling from a single card).

At the moment I don't know whether to go for a single GTX690 or single Titan.

Pricing and current review results are pushing me towards a GTX690 but argh I don't know. :p

Sorry, I meant 3 monitors connected to one card.

I have come from SLI 680's, so will try and give as honest as I can feedback. I found with SLI 680's they were fine but just not quite man enough for some games with full detail. I am hoping SLI Titans will give me that extra grunt that was needed to max games at playable frame rates.

Interesting to see the low memory clock, why are they not going straight in at 1750/1850, are they different memory chips ?

I did my best score last night on +250 memory... I did +300 and it actually lowered the score (hence why I didn't get a screeny of my best score)
and my boost clock is being hampered by temps... driving 6GB of memory may well be the limiting factor rather than the chips themselves

having said that, I do have 3 cards so I can swap them about and see which one is the best clocker

I need to find a way to get better air flow to my top card. As I have a EX58-UD5 board my two PCIe x16 slots are right next to each other meaning both my Titans are almost touching. My top card is almost 8-10c hotter and so is throttling back too soon. :(

I might just stick the second card in the lower x8 slot and hope it doesn't hurt performance too much.

It will be a small performance hit but not noticable. Water cooling is a good option to eliminate the extra heat :)

I've cleaned up the last two pages.

Keep it on topic guys. Take the bickering about price etc. elsewhere.

Yea I WC'd a pair of 480's a few years back (check the sig link). I'm a bit lazy these days to be fiddling with all that again though. :p

The extra clocks will probably make up for the PCIe bandwidth hit.
