**** Official Titan owners thread. ****

my EK blocks arrive on monday, the noise is too much for me to be too bothered with overclocking them on air... one of them I did manage 1175 out of at one point though, so I'm expecting good things once they are on water

Mine crapped out at 1150Mhz core, not a temp issue, needs more volts or bios unlock. Hopefully KGB will be updated to support Titan soon, my 670 4GB was a monster clocker after using KGB, it would sit at 1250mhz all day long. Hopefully Titan be the same..

Mobo dried out, retubed, leaktest overnight - check
Gpu fitted (cheap one) :D

About to test - will report back later.

Was toying with going Trifire after struggling to max games out, I've gone so far with this PC I couldn't cheap out now.

Yep,3 Titans - Only going to run 2 for now to see if I actually need 3(yeah right)

Packed in smoking last year so thought I'd treat myself. :D

Oh nice, all ready to go!.

Yeah, you've well passed the point of no return so I don't blame you for going all out, plus with giving up smoking (well done, pray for me :D), you deserve it.

What the 'eck do you mean?. Only going to run two?. I think, for benchmark purposes, you should use three but then again, if two is plenty, there is no need to open up a card that is being sent back as Kapstaad will quench the thirst of the curious at OCUK.

Are you going to watercool these?. Hopefully there will be a way to play with voltage soon but is there not something else regarding that the power limit of the card is an issue when overclocking?. I remember all the fuss Nvidia had with extra voltages being added to the 6 series cards so I hope it's not a case of there being more hurdles to jump to be able to do what you want to your purchased card :(.

Well it looks like I got away with it,
Titan fitted and a few benches run without a glitch(phew) :)

Very impressed with the card (very much overpriced).
As they have been paid for by giving up smoking I'll probably run 3,
my only concern is 3 card scaling.

I would imagine I'll water cool but I'm in no rush,
as for extra volts - I'm sure someone will have that well in hand

As others have said they are very quiet but only tried one so far, :)
time will tell when I get the other cards fitted

Go for 3 cards, even if you find something that does not scale well with 3 cards you can turn one of the slots off on the mobo.

Idle temps today 18c :p. This card loves water.

You saved all that money to buy 3 titan's from quitting smoking and then almost saw them titans go up in smoke...:D

I have been following that but don't think I will bother. I am happy with the performance of two and that gives a power target of 110% (from 106%) and will void the warranty should the card fail.

These are too expensive to muck about with BIOS's for me.

Agree,These cards run really well and the only thing overclocking makes any noticeable difference to is benchmarks.

Not sure if I am being a doughnut or not. EVGA Precision X shows Power target and temp target in reviews, but I don't see these?

Am I doing summit wrong?

I can see the power target in the centre, but cant see a temp target unless you have to click on the gpu temp indicator on the right. I haven't used precision x before so don't know it very well.

Goto configuration, then the user interface tab, then select the default skin.

That should show the temp target for you.
