**** Official Titan owners thread. ****

I have spent the past three days testing and playing no end of games on these 3 cards at 2560x1440. After hours of hard work I have a very simple conclusion.

Titan is best, 690 is fastest and 680 does the job.

Simples... :D

Nice, Great position to be in, Do your customers know their kit gets "road tested" :D

What were the main points that made Titan the best for you ?

The Titan offers the best all round experience it has better minimum frames than the 690 and sees less drops from what I have noticed playing the games.

The 690 has better Max Fps but tbh on a 60Hz screen a lot is wasted. It can also be a pain in games that have issues with SLI like Tomb raider. So some games it is just really a single 680.

The 680 works like a slower Titan no issues with game support. It hits the wall a bit with some of the newer games at 1440p like Crysis but a few tweaks gets it doing the job nicely.

I feel Titan is best suited to a high res multi screen setup and is a little wasted on single screen systems until 4k comes along.
The 690 is a good card for single screen 1440p gaming and when the support is there outshines even Titan by a fair margin. It's just damn annoying when games have issues with SLI or will only run on a single gpu, Also the heat it pumps into your case is unreal. If you have poor ventilation this thing will cook your pc from the inside out.
680 does the job very well and tbh I'm more surprised how well the 680 does at 1440p. Crysis runs with a few unnoticeable tweaks here and there and still looks stunning.

Don't need to read any more than that :D

Always placed Real unbiased people giving an honest and direct real world assessment Way above professional reviews...Good job Mate ;)

I swapped out 670 SLI... but for 3 Titan's, but then I did have 3 2560x1440 monitors sat here begging to be gamed on so...

but yes, a single Titan is very close to the performance of 2 670's, but without any risk of SLI problems (though to be fair I'd had none of those either)

if it was single monitor I would be hard pressed to recommend a Titan when a pair of 670's actually perform slightly better for a lot less money, but if you are running say a 2560 monitor and are dead set against SLI then it's the only choice really

Could you bench your watercooled titan @2560x1440 for me on say bf3 and crysis and far cry 3 please as im tempted to get one and add it too my loop as my 670's would be pointless to watercool

All very similar tbh. In a closed case they are all noticeable when being used but none of them are particularly loud just a background whoosh.

Nice, though the other two will be better than the 690 I'd imagine due to the exhausting.

Gregster this graph has an error -

I was thinking of "bestest" that's laughable. Yes, it's a sarcastic graph but still, so many use it.

*Working on a new Titan bios*

Unlocked to 120% power usage, 1.212volts @ stock usage, with up to 1.3v if extra volts are used in EVGA Precision etc...

So far so good... I will share with those that want it when it's finished..

Eeevening all! Do any of you guys know when the EK titan waterblocks are due to be in stock at OCUK? Dyyying to get mine WC'd!

Also, I'm not sure if anyone else has had this, but when running the heaven 4.0 bench the GPU core clock reading Heaven is putting out is a couple of hundred MHZ above what GPU-Z is reporting!?

EVGA PX still showing 12.12 volts, don't think it is reaching 1.3v..

So the Bios is 12.12 unlocked, power target up to 114%, fan 85%..

This bios has given me an extra 65mhz OC.

My max volts before was 1.87 now have 12.12 under load..

1175Mhz rock solid stable clock.. Hopefully someone can figure out how to unlock 1.3v, would love to reach 1200mhz+ stable..

My card doesn't throttle, from what I've read some cards throttle and some don't? I'm sure it's temp related.. Titan's love water lol..

Just hit P14817 on single Titan

Both mine throttle and nothing to do with temps (kept under 50c tonight and still throttled). EVGA and Nvidia are aware of it and if I am honest, I am not fussed. The performance is sweet and these cards fly.

What was your P14817 in?

Strange isn't it? Some using air cooled cards don't throttle and some do.. Mine doesn't throttle but it seems to need more volts than others for high clocks..

1.212 volts gives me 1175mhz.. Others can reach over 1200mhz...

I'm very happy with my card though, it fly's.. Giving GTX 670 SLI scores in benchmarks :p.

That score was in 3D Mark 11. I need a better clocking CPU to beat you guys :)..
