its either lag or you need a better pc. if your getting bad fps its your pc, use fraps (free download) to check your fps during gameplay

It's not my pc and you don't need fraps to check your fps in game, you just hit ctrl+r. I get a constant 60 fps with vsync on and even when it does start to stutter I still get 60 fps.

Does anyone have a fix for the stuttering in this game? I've only recently started playing the game again, but the stuttering is really annoying me. I don't remember getting stuttering when I played back at release last year... I could be wrong though.

The only way I could fix this is copying the game to an ssd drive. Runs perfectly now.

ok that makes no sense, your game is stuttering yet you say its not your pc....its obviously your pc what else can be the problem... its either your pc or your connection and if your not lagging then its your pc.

The game does not have a "stuttering" feature

Obviously his pc? I'm going to disagree with you there. It's a poorly optimised game that's at fault.

I fixed my stuttering by running part of the game from my USB flash drive, info on how here

No, you said I need a better pc and I replied "it's not my pc". There's obviously a problem with the game, so don't know why your being like this. Just Google "diablo 3 stuttering" and you will get loads of hits.

My pc spec is in sig but anyway here it is - i5 @ 4GHz, HD7950 @ 1000/1500 and Crucial M4 SSD with latest firmware - way more than is needed to run this game. As per the guy above me, apparently the only fix is to copy some of the files onto a separate drive. It's because the game has no load screens, so it loads files on the fly which is when you get the stuttering. My theory is everyone gets the stuttering, but some people just cant notice it as much as others.

I dont care how good your pc is , the highest spec pc still runs into issues

My theory is that some peoples setups cause issues with the games programming and therefore it would be your pc and its compatability to the games programming and not the game as a whole which runs fine for everyone else.

This means if your pc cannot smoothly load the files and so produces stuttering ... then is this your pc and not the game

If it was the game "everyone" would have the issue...most people do not, therefore its the minority and thier PC which sparks the issue

I wasn't bragging about my pc, you told me in the post above that it might be because I need a better pc, so was just letting you know my specs.

The game doesn't run fine for everyone else though. A few posts above this and someone is mentioning the exact same problem

Don't worry, you're obviously the expert on this matter. Telling me to install Fraps to check my FPS when the game has built in FPS meter, even then FPS isn't related to stutter, you could be getting 120fps but still have stutter.

I did not say the game game ran fine for everyone else, i said most people dont have the issue.

I also was not trying to say that you were boasting i was simply saying it does not matter how good your pc is, i think your taking my statments the wrong way mate.

i'm no expert i'm just saying its not entirely the games fault. I have no stutter my pc loads the information fast enough and i receive consistant smooth gameplay. You pc does not sync and load the game fast enough therefore it is a pc issue. If you have to move files onto an external device to run the game because your pc wont load them fast enough then this is a pc problem.

I'm not trying to pick a fight or prove you wrong, i'm just clarifying that its a pc issue and not a game issue like some have said.

Sorry, but you did seem to me like you were coming across a bit hostile in your posts.

The fault itself is not game breaking and probably wouldn't even bother most people as it's hardly noticeable. What annoys me is that I can't remember there being any stuttering when I played the game last year not long after it's release date.

I can't believe how lucky I was on my first attempt crafting archon intel gloves (and honestly this was my first attempt).

I'm currently running hell at mp10 at level 53 and hardly getting any exp, i have +67% and 190 + per kill without mp bonus , it was so much faster on my other chars, i dunno why. any nerfs?

I'm pretty sure you would earn XP faster on a much lower MP level and just running through getting the quests done. Your XP/hr on MP10 is not going to be great if you don't have the DPS to efficiently farm it.

I'm killing everything in 1 hit, i run through as fast as if it was mp0, i don't wait around to kill mobs.

dont think there are any nerfs because a guy leveled up to 60 in 2 hours or so at the weekend. Seemed like we has on MP10 and had others running around killing everything for him. Just ran Keeps lvl2 over and over for the 10 minutes I watched.
