AMD bag BF4

Nice one. Probably the wrong forum though mate - should be in PC games.

To be honest any game which is multi-platform in the future is going to have some form of AMD dev input into it now at a high level (at least) due to the console situation.

EA signed a contract last year with AMD GE.

The futures bright, the futures RED!:D

Oh yes you little beauty. So glad AMD bagged this one as this is one game i will rack up a hell of a lot of hours on.

EDIT

Thia is how glad i am. £55 deluxe version pre-ordered. ;)

Does the deluxe edition give you all of the future DLCs?

No it just adds beta access, plus bonus content. Most likely bonus content will be possible extra guns, skins, camo packs etc. Probably best off buying the standard version unless you put serious time into the game.

I'm not a fan of BF3 and probably will not even buy BF4, I'm just impressed how AMD are getting in with all the big game releases. This is guaranteed to swing more gamers to AMD GPU's, which I guess is the whole idea of working with the devs and getting your brand associated with the big games. Nvidia have fallen way behind AMD in this respect.

£55 for that? :eek::eek::eek:

Doubt it. They'll launch a premium service after the popularity of the current one. Bet they'll close the Indian VPN loophole as well :D. Mine cost ~£15.

I think i will wait for a backdoor option or get it via cjskeys again. I'm not paying £55 for a game without DLCs, that's extortion.

Rusty how did you do that? Either following that pre order link or going on the Indian origin website I can't find BF4 and add it to the cart.

It comes with one DLC, but so does the standard edition. It all depends what the bonus content is really. For the amount of hours i will put into this game the extra £10 doesn't make much difference to me as i will get my moneys worth.

You had to connect via a VPN or proxy IP to the Indian site and buy it in Rupees. Doubt you can do it for this yet.

Yeah, I'm VPN'd up and on the Rupees Origin. I thought you said you had preordered this already for ~£15.

No in BF3 I got it. :)

From Eurogamer:

"Now for the inevitable pre-order information. Pre-order BF4 - currently just for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 - and you'll automatically get a Premium expansion pack. There's a BF4 Digital Deluxe on Origin, which includes the base game and bonus in-game digital items. Pre-order that and you'll get the Premium expansion pack as well as access to the Battlefield 4 multiplayer beta."

Unclear whether "a Premium expansion pack" is just one (like B2K) or the whole shabang...
