What film did you watch last night?

The Hobbit on Virgin pay-per-view.

Bored me to death, the kids lost interest half way through and I kept pressing pause to see how much time there was left. Can't remember what actually happened in it apart from the Gollum bit.

The Last Stand - Not too bad. 5/10 Arnie just looks too old now. Needs to retire.

Pitch Black - Still enjoy watching this movie 8/10

The Chronicles of Riddick - Good Movie. 7/10

Jack Reacher - Wasn't expecting too much. But it was alright. 6/10

Broken City - I enjoyed this movie. 7/10

Django - 9/10 Awsome movie..!!!!

Thats about it.

The Last Stand - 7/10

Really rather enjoyed this. It's very predictable but also hugely entertaining. I felt Knoxville's character could have been expanded on more. Loved the level of gore, was a nice change from these 12A action films. The surround sound during the action sequences was immense as well.

Last stand, 2/10, and thats being generous, no acting, I mean none, no attempt at acting, Arnie can barely get his words out between age and accent, Forrest stupid Eye was utterly absymal, the entire script was horrendous as was all the action.

Gore, there was spits of crap CGI blood, what massive gore. Action for petrol heads, one car going so fast no chopper can keep up with it... but one does, and, the entire thing is so painfully stupid, the action so painfully slow and stupid, everything about it was stupid, slow, badly thought out, terribly written and not remotely entertaining.

I remember films where a decent idea, a decent script, an attempt at acting and a REASON for the action made a good film, people now think pushing a guy off a roof and going with him, for absolutely ZERO reason, that looks and feels utterly stupid, is great.

This film is a bunch of random stuff that happens, thats it, its not an action film, there is no logic linking one shot to the next. This exact film portrays every single thing wrong with modern action films compared to those from the 80-90's.

The roof bit, he comes out, has a gun, isn't out of ammo, runs and goes off the roof with him. Its as simple as manufacturing a reason he has to do that, even a poor reason would be something, his gun malfunctioned and didn't go off and the guy starts turning towards him to shoot, no other option, or he lost his gun in battle, ANYTHING, but it was a **** action film with one bad idea after the next, with no link, no logic, no explanation, just a bunch of random things all at various times.

Explain that you're going to stand in the middle of the road being shot to draw the rest out... while the other guys hide and don't help, but noooo. Worst film I've seen in quite some time.
