Why does everyone seem to hate ROS?

EDIT: oh google suggests it's only the book purists that dislike her because she isn't a character in the books.

Not just that, they seem to use her as a filler character, to take the place of other people and generally be used in all the made up scenes

It is a little disheartening that some really great characters such as Trormund, for example, get badly introduced, and barely get any screentime, but a totally made up character is all over the show....she had more screentime than Jon in the last episode!

PS. I apologolise for any spelling mistakes etc...swiftkey appears to have stopped working on my tablet, ans i am struggling a bit;)

Read the books, then you'll appreciate it.

The strength of this TV show is not in the action scenes.

Can't say it has much strength in the action scenes as they are few and far between...

Only one was any good and that was the most recent!

most of the walk on parts probably get more screentime than jon :p

Medievil Eastenders ?

East enders has no elegant plot lines and people biding their time for revenge.

phil mitchell would have took a wrench to joffrey and saved the kingdom by now , dot would be opening a laundrette in kings landing and the feuding houses would be all drinking in the queen vic together

Loved that last episode. Some great scenes with Varys. The script is very good in this and very well executed by the actors.

I didn't quite understand the Theon thing though. From what i understand, the bow and arrow guy just rescued him then brought him back, and then put on some crazed "I'm Frodo Baggins at want the one ring/troll face" face and said that Theon killed the soldiers that were out to search for him? ( P.S. I don't want spoilers from the book, just want to make sure i understand what happened?)

Yes that's what he did, so he could find out what happened the Stark boys.
Which isn't a book spoiler, the book sequence for Theon is rather different, as Theon wasn't mentioned for several books, as although things were happening with the way the book chapters are written from a specific persons perspective, it simply didn't cover him.
In the same way that Dany must eat and drink several times a day, it simply isn't reported.

I would assume he is Ramsay Bolton, but tbh they are doing it completety different to the book so its anyone's geuss really.

Does GOT have a big budget?

There are literally zero action scenes and more talking which I find entertaining especially Tyrian :D

Unless the books were like this also with hardly any action?

A bit of both - in the books a lot of the action takes place off page particularly in the first book like the battle of the whispering wood. GOT does have a big budget, but not that big especially given they have crap loads of characters so the personnel budget is probably substantial. The Battle of The Blackwater episode probably consumed a healthy amount of the season budget in series 2 for one episode.
