What I did was right click it and open with regedit.

Does this really mean you need less voltage? I'll be doing some testing myself but would love to hear from others.

From my testing it will allow my card to run at 1200 core without crashes but I get artifacts. Without it I need a voltage bump to get 1200 without a crash.

I've done of googling and looking into it myself, a lot of people say it does nothing as TDP is hardware locked

Well i ran some tests.
My 7950 is stable at 1.200v where before i had to run 1.236.
But it still wont pass allbenchmark at 1260mhz so it does not allow me to clock higher.
Still less voltage for same daily **** is good anyway

found the reg entries but decided to hold off until i did a fresh install of windows, had a few hardware changes recently. now i cant find the reg entries i dont seem to have contro l any more lol. baffled

I know one thing GPU does get hotter @35% so it does change something

can you get away with an overclock of 1100/1500 on a 7950 without 20% on the power slider (leaving it at 0)

Have you tried His iTool and Trixx for voltage adjustment?

Can't remember if you wan't the voltage to increase or decrease either.

Card dependant, some will, some won't, but it's probably more dependant on voltage over what the power limit can do.

okay on my 7950 i have 1050/1575

with just the 20 percent added only using ccc overdrive at mo.

i haven't touched the voltage . temps seem very nice aswell.

new to oc these 7950s so any help would be appreciated
