Going to try and finish the Castelli Strava challenge tomorrow, It's been a challenging week so far, looking forward to some well earned rest once it's over!

e: looks like I'll also finish the May Massive challenge on the same ride. 2-4-1 :)

finish may massive? it doesn't have a distance/goal set how are you going to finish it? :D

Good work. I'm going to try to push on and get to 500km, but it'll be a challenge. Still, even 500km in one month will be the most I've done yet, so it's all good.

That's what it's all about, I find the challenges can help with the extra motivation to go out on days you might otherwise not or to ride further that you normally would etc :)

I haven't hit 250 yet due to the disaster yesterday (plus I accidentally reset my data on my garmin!) but I've got a huge amount of cycling planned over this weekend and the next so might manage 500 if i push it :)

I have sinned... :o

I wonder how long it'll take before the clip snaps off?

My bag rotted and had to be thrown away before anything happened to the clip.

So the clip is durable? Or the bag material rots easily?:D

The clip reversing works well I think to bring it nearer the post.

Three years of riding all weathers rotted parts of me as well. The clip is durable but you may need to tighten the bolt occasionally to keep it level.

Until recently all my bikes had Fizik Arione saddles so I could just move the one bag between then as I needed to.

Annoyingly the only two that have Fiziks on now use different sized inner tubes so I use different bags.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've heard a lot of cyclists criticising Halfords for poor assembly, that's why I was looking at Decathlon. Do you think that's a major issue?

I've found a similarly priced hybrid on Decathlon's site - Riverside 1. Of the two, which do you think would be better?

The Riverside seems to use wierd size wheels so you might have trouble getting replacement tyres for it.

Too much weird stuff being said in here for my liking! Get a grip, it's only a cheap and now nasty looking road bike....!

Two laps of the Mount tonight with 20km on the flat after to increase the distance and spin my legs out. The times for the two ascents were within a second of each other! Nice and consistent! I could have done a third lap, but thought it might have hurt a bit too much.

Time limited a little bit as it is dark at 17:30 now, but only a month until the shortest (longest for you) day!
