What film did you watch last night?

Les Miserables. Hugh Jackman and Eddie Redmayne were vey good. I think plot wise it must work better as a book, as you'd get more of an impression of the passage of time. The music and singing is heavy going at times to be honest.

Django Unchained 9/10 My film of the year so far.

Ditto.

Really really enjoyed it. Also I dont understand the criticism it received for the N-word, imo it was needed. Actors all did fantastically well, music was good, violence was there but then it is a QT film, what did people expect?

Star Trek into darkness.

8/10
Very good film, but the obviousness let it down especially.
why the hell did they make it so obviously, it was even part of the conversation they just shoe horned it in, broke conversation to ask what he was doing injecting that thing, from that point on it was obviously that it was going to be used on a main character.

Hangover 3, not very good at all

No storyline worth speaking of and very few laughs

Really?? i thought it was as good as the first one...didnt really rate the 2nd one all that much.

I saw Identity Thief.
I think some of you are being a bit too harsh by giving 0.5/10, etc.
3/10.

Identity Thief was better than The Dictator, which was without doubt, the most unfunny comedy I have ever seen (watched entire movie). And I am a HUGE fan of Ali G, so I do normally find Cohen's sense of humour funny.

Better than Dictator?? you gotta be kidding me...Identity thief was about as funny as watching paint dry...from what my missus said when i asked her as i fell asleep lol.

Anyhow each to their own, to this day i still find the dictator extremely funny and im not a huge fan of Baron Cohen who does the leading role.

Yep have to agree, watched it the other night and i thought it was absolutely superb. Thought Christoph Waltz stole the movie, he was absolutely superb.

9.5/10

The Three Stooges - I love the Stooges and watch the short films whenever I can so I was apprehensive about this remake but it is not really a remake just more of the same! The actors just copy the orginals, and do it pretty well, and do what they would have done in 2012. Some of it was not as good as the rest but eye poking, head knocking and face slapping go a long way in my book! 4/5

When he got shot I actually swore and said out loud "what the **** man!", was so annoyed! Such a likable character doing such an unlikable job!

LOL yeh i have to say i was a bit gutted to see that happen, thought Foxx was pretty good along with DiCaprio as well. But definitely Christoph stole the movie by a long margin for me...he was also immense in inglorious ******** as well.

Went to see Star Trek Into Darkness last night.

Absolutely loved it. Probably my movie of the year :)

Ohh and in 2D of course. Glad I'm not going to see 3D movies anymore as I'm always disappointed.

Cabin In The Woods

92% on RT and 71% on IMDB suggests I have a poor taste in films because I thought it was abysmal and easily the worst I've seen this year bar 2012 which is probably the worst film I've ever seen.

Dial M For Murder. Brilliant Hitchcock thriller about a man who tries to arrange the perfect murder, then has to think on his feet when things don't go to plan.

Just watched last night's broadcast of 'The Road'.
And later that day I had a bad dream. I woke at the point where they were debating how much morphine they gave me before my legs were amputated as part of a deal whereby myself and companion would be released.

Obviously I was very fortunate there was going to be some morphine involved before my legs became lunch, but my subconscious decided that was a good point to wake up and get ready for work.

I feel like I'm five or something. Nightmares after a movie? How embarrassing. Or maybe it's just a very bleak, disturbing movie.

a good day to die hard

hmmmm........well the less said about this, the better really :o :p Decent enough twist at the end but otherwise it was a pretty terrible film that not even Bruce Willis could save :(

4/10

Bullet to the head

Pretty good action film unlike the above film........some great lines by Stallone as usual, decent action scenes and a basic plot as usual, enjoyable throughout!

6.5/10

Killing Them Softly. I didn't like it. Unlikable characters, gratuitous violence and language, horrible sound editing, clunky political overtones... Good acting aside, there was little to redeem it.

I've said this before, but this was such a good film.

Hooray for Sam Rockwell!

Moon, I watched this again after seeing you guys post up. Haven't watched in ages so it was mostly fresh to me again.

Still love this film, it's just a great film with a great actor. Sam Rockwell has popped up in a few good films in my time. Always a good performance.

9/10

Watched the Great Gatsby last night and thought it was pretty decent...saw it in 3D which tbh i thought was pointless in all honesty as there wasnt really enough action to make it in 3D. Didnt realise that Jay Z was the executive producer although his music is in movie.

All in all not a bad movie, thought DiCaprio as usual was immense...8/10 for me.
