From the look of the last light shots its a beautiful game, also one of those games that gives me buyers remorse making me wish i'd got a 1440p IPS panel :/

I'm sure it can be enjoyed just as much on a 1080/1200P 24" though!

Metro LL Low vs Very High, not "that" much difference in a screenshot but in motion Low is quite poor with patchy fog effects.

Just finished Metro last light and I enjoyed it. However for as nice looking as that game is when you are in the world I felt to much of it was wasted by me just using the NV all the time. I also had 55 mins of air filter time at the end

Honestly the story so far has me intrigued, I actually can't wait to get back from work tomorrow and carry on playing it!

Is the book worth a read also?

the books an excellent read in my opinion, read it 3 times now! Though after i read the book there are parts i wish they had put in the game, can get it from amazon for pretty cheap too

Depends really, obviously the game wouldn't have certain parts of the book, so i'd say play the game first, then read the book.
