pc's already playing xbone games

Was that a XBox One Exclusive by any chance?

TBH, it's nothing new. It's just the PC build, not like the XBox One devkits have been around for long. If you want a launch title, you'd better get started BEFORE you have the devkits, especially when said hardware is basically a DX11 PC in a box.

I should imagine because AMD are saying they won the xbox/ps4 supplier on merit, whilst Nvidia are saying they didnt like the margins. Kind of backs up nvidia - but in all honesty its a grainy pic of a box at one expo. Doesnt make much of a difference anyway.

When has this ever been the biggest concern ? the biggest concern is and has been since 2006 is the inevitable (no pc version or pc version out 1 year after the console releases) and get used to it because the pattern will repeat in this next gen.

All the best games will either have no pc version or be heavily delayed (we all know it's because of pc piracy) really.Don't blame them just wish they'd release on pc but they wont.

And because of the delay the PC version wont do as well as in sales as it could have done, catch 22.

Surely if there now running x86 architecture then it's going to be very easy for someone naughty to sort it out?

+1 AMD are good but they always seem to slack behind one step or two. And to have worked hard to win both hardware rights graphically only to see them using an nvidia card (if it is an nvidia card) would annoy the hell out of me. I don't really give a damn, last console I owned / still own was a PSX. So please do use a brain cell or two before you call me a keyboard warrior, or maybe you're some mad console fanboi.

I really don't get what the big deal is, all he's doing is emulating an x86 game on an x86 platform with extra power to cope with the overhead of running it on Windows.

some company sold a game last year that sold more on pcthan it did on any single console alone.

I can't remember what was game :@

It was really close about 150k units in it but pc sold moar.

I think it was an EA game

I think a lot of people are taking different things away from the article. The article is pretty balanced in how it's written and is not particularly bashing anyone or anything. It's merely pointing out how it looks...

Had Microsoft not had such an abysmal E3 then this would be a non story, no question about it.

I think people are a bit confused about a game been 'exclusive' and a game not been released on PC due to sales/piracy concerns.

MS/Sony have exclusives where I assume a large amount of money has been given to the devs to compensate for lost cross platform sales.

As for other titles not appearing on PC I have never even noticed them? PC still gets the AAA titles etc so not certain what we are missing out on.

xbone uses amd gpu.
microsoft are using nvidia gpu at e3

you think amd are happy? or microsoft?

Well console dev kits have always been PCs haven't they? And it's not as if they've ever had access to tech beyond consumer reach to do so, so the fact a PC is running these games is a complete non-event. If people are expecting the Sony cabinets were full of retail spec PS4s then they'd be sorely mistaken I think.

The only bit that's really interesting is that it seems to be running on nVidia hardware when the console is AMD - being E3 you can bet they've made the dev PCs as powerful as they possibly can to eliminate any kind of stutter etc. and it must be a bit of a kick in the teeth for AMD to have it publicised that nVidia was the chosen option and it wasn't felt an AMD GPU would be up to the task. If it was up to the task, you can only imagine it would have been selected, as no doubt an AMD GPU is more similar structurally.

Yes some games will sell more on PCs because of the type of game it its, that's obvious.

Why did this get derailed to sony? :\ has nothing to do with it lol.

The thing that would **** AMD off is its Nvidia hardware running what is supposed to be AMD hardware :\ And by the looks of its SLI 680s or 670s which is very silly.

No business uses Windows 8 its all Windows 7, they went from XP to Windows 7 and will stay 7 for atleast 7-8 years until support runs out. I dunno about game developers but im sure they probably do the same? Its the same for government too, they use all windows 7 now, well in the UK anyways.

It just makes the Xboxone look really stupid tbh, first its £100 more than the PS4 and now this? I suppose the PS4 will probably do this too though, its just amazing they are not using an AMD card haha.

One thing i ask is, are they using INTEL CPUs LOL?!
