Cool Trick From Dynamo

Christ some of you really know how to moan in here! Take it for what is it, which is just a bit of fun. We all know it's not real, but how often do you see someone hanging on to the side of a bus in London?

Unfortunately I speak to a lot of people who do actually think the stuff that he (and David Blaine/Derren Brown) does is real.

This.

Some people are gullible beyond belief

OK Dynamo and Blaine are magicians.

But that deluded Derren Fraud Brown just goes full retard and acts like what he's staging is actually real

To Derren's credit, he'll always readily admit everything he does is a mix of magic, misdirection and psychology.

Yeah, he always admits that nothing he does is in any way magic. Its all manipulation, direction and illusion.

Thank god someone has figured this trick out though.

The game is up

e: oh dear lord, I hadn't read the comments. My faith in humanity wavers sometimes.

Yes.

Tells his viewers "I'm going to predict the lottery numbers", and then gets some editor at Channel 4 to do some compositing and masking. What has Derren even got to do with anything on this show?, other than that stupid stare at the camera to tell you it's real. Oh and that silly long winded 45 minutes of utter ******** about those random people picking numbers or whatever it was. Oh but wait, "the numbers must be revealed live, not before the draw", because Derren looked straight at the camera with his suggestive eyes and told you so

Oh and getting some guy to land a simulator. Oh but "believe me ladies and gentlemen this guy thinks it's real, he honestly can't tell the difference between a 2D computer screen and real life because I have reprogrammed his brain" "I am looking right at the camera without blinking so I' am telling you the truth".

Very magical, psychological and misdirecting. NOT. More like complete and utter bull****. The only "talent" Derren Brown has is being able to look right into a camera (the viewer's eyes) and talk a load of rubbish. At least magicians like Dynamo and Blaine keep their mouth shut and let their illusion do the talking. Derren is just a **** chatter.

I watch Derren Brown shows purely to release hate and swear at the TV. Feels good.

Dynamo is far to way out for me, I like a magician to be believable even when I know that it's never genuine, as previously mentioned he makes money off of people who don't understand the "possibility" that what he's doing isn't real. Like the whole water walking on the Thames last year...

its an illusion of course there will be some hidden tricks behind but the way he does it is very hard to noticed. He's very smart :)

Derren Brown is absolutely the opposite of this.

Yes. Obviously he's not actually retard. That was just hyperbole. Otherwise he wouldn't be successful.

Next time you're watching a Derren Brown hoax, mute the sound. It makes more sense if you don't listen to his crap.

It's all in the words.

His technique is very obvious. He typically starts the show with a load of crap, but not limited to crap only, it could be anything which he can later use. He then makes an admission that the part was crap or whatever it was. While making this admission, he looks directly at the camera with a particularly trusting expression and his body is always perpendicular to the camera. This immediately evokes trust from the viewer, and the viewer subconsciously memorises this particular mannerism and facial expression as a portrayal of honesty. This causes the audience to become receptive to anything he says; all he needs to do is make that trusting expression, not blink much, and face directly at the camera. This is when he usually proceeds to mind**** the audience; he will then say something like "what I'm about to show you is real", "I have reprogrammed him", etc, etc, and the BS begins.

Just take a look at the lottery hoax (which has been proven). Do you think he spent 45 minutes working with those group of people to actually conjure up those lottery numbers? Of course not. That was just a complete and utter guise. A rouse. Any magician could have done that "trick" in 3 minutes without uttering a single syllable. But oh no, this is not a magic trick, this is reality in Derren Brown's world, his tricks aren't tricks, they're real. :D

Ever wondered how a mother can almost instantly tell if a child is lying? And how you act when you're lying? Ever wondered why some people make good liars and some cant lie to save their life?

Keep this in mind when watching any Derren Brown Hoax:

Step 1: Gain the audiences trust
Step 2: Perform a load of rubbish
Step 3: Audience believes it
Step 4: Profit.

That's it. At the end of the day Derren Brown is just a long-winded-trickmeister who uses suggestibility to make audiences think what he's doing is actually real, the thing is his suggestibility doesn't work with everyone. Derren's work is contrary to magicians, who don't say anything about their tricks.
