If its like the stand there is no way I'd trust my bike on it without some serious beefing up.
You get a car for the bike not a rack for the car :p

Heres my bike rack

Thats two dh bikes with gear and still plenty of room :D

Aye. My stand needed beefed up. Need to replace one of the bolts too. This is more for the Mrs' car when she goes for a quick blast after work and for commuting part of the way to work on bike. We have the cmax van for everything else. 3 people. 3 DH bikes. Camping gear. All the way to France and back. :D

No problem. Last year we did 3 people. 3 xc\am bikes. A VW Passat estate with 189k on the clock to France. The car died the week after we got back. :D

Just rebuilt the c456, need a bit of tweaking but weird being back on a hardtail!

Won;t get a chance to stick up pictures as away on holidays tomorrow for a week so will weigh it and get a picture up when I'm back.

Is there a push up at Antur Stiniog anyone? Off up that way next week and don't wanna pay for the uplift!

No push up & if you get caught pushing up out of hours you'll be banned. £26 isn't really that bad for a day of riding, is it?

You'll be lucky to book an uplift anyway next week as they're holding a race there all weekend. It's going to be Round one of next years BDS too.

But I bet so far you haven't had anything enabling the GPS and keeping it on ;)

GPS uses a lot of power getting signals from all those satellites
.

well endomondo is as simple as you want it.

the main website page for your profile only shows basic stats like

and the route statistics are like
KbAvWbG.jpg
the numbers on the map showing where I walked are mile markers. I guess you don't get them when cycling as it's not really important to know your time for each mile
lol max speed and avg speed are clearly reversed :P Guess there was a bug in the build I used for that walk it was probably 2 years ago
BTW that was walking I used to use endomondo everywhere I went no matter how far :D, on that occasion I must have walked to a bank in the city centre and then took the scenic route home though the park

you set it to the type of exercise you are doing on your phone before each session it's as simple as you want it to be and I don't think you get all the competitive stuff unless you pay for premium which I think is 2.99 a month?
Good stuff, I'll definitely check that out. Cheers :)

No. Why don't you want to pay? It's worth it and the trails don't build themselves...

It'd be mid week not weekend.
It's not the price, I'm not planning on being there all day just a few hours...

So when the XC run is built there how will they do that then? Will they charge £5 a day like Bike Park Wales will be doing? I expect off the XC loop there'll be access to the DH runs.

On the website, says you can pay £3 for one uplift.

You'd be right, see quite a few local people do this whilst we're there for the day.

In regards to an xc loop, it's non existent and I have no idea where it'll begin, end or if it'll link with any of the existing trails.

Rode a mate's Large Spitfire yesterday.
FAAAAR to oversprung for me, tyres were pumped up to 45PSI, BUT - man that bike is an absolute blast.

So glad I went and ordered one :D

Nice :D

What's the full spec going to be then?

I'll run it in 650B not due to actually caring about wheelsize, but the bottom bracket is SO low that I think for a trail bike I'd be striking pedals far too much in 26" mode.

Spec is uncertain, but I guess I'll try sell my assortment of x.0 / xx gearing in favour of Shimano XT/ XTR / Zee, dependant on weight and price. I'll also sell the LG1 trail guide, and just run a Raceface narrow wide chainring with the clutch mech.

I'll keep the BOS deville forks, as they run 650b just fine. I will also most likely keep my formula R1 brakes, unless I can find a straight swap for XTR trail brakes.
I'll also probably sell my Reverb post and get the Thomson dropper with the lever. Getting some Diety Mohawk carbon bars for it, which should look sweet!

Give me a shout when your selling your reverb ;) If it'll fit of course.

Sounds awesome! Due to be delivered soon?

How easy is it to service front shocks, rock pikes, thinking about doing them myself or taking it to my local bike shop also tempted to change the spring to a firmer one whilst I'm at it.
