It's the Dunwich Dynamo this weekend. I am actually feeling nervous about it :|
I live 2 miles from Dunwich. Anyone doing it in reverse?

I'm only getting short rides in now.

Well had a look at the Scott CR1 SL i was interested in at work and agreed to buy it.
How agreeable, who's building it? what tubes?
Thanks, I'll probably take you up on that offer. What sort of pace do you think you'll ride at?Are you still solo? I'm riding with a few old work colleagues and you're welcome to join.
I am actually seriously considering riding my less expensive bike as a result. Apparently they load them onto the lorries with bits of cardboard between them, I am fearful that a wheel is going to get buckled or the frame is going to get scratched. I don't really care if the CX bike gets thrown about a bit, but the thought of my VN being treated shabbily is quite off-putting.Now that I can relate too. The thought of putting my bike on a train, or in anyone else's hands scares the hell out of me![]()

FAO Damien - does this route look OK for tomorrow night? About 28 miles. If we set off from mine about seven we can be home between 9 and 10, depending on how we get on with the climbs!
It's fine with me if you want to take it easy; it's not a race, after all. Are you going to follow the course on a GPS or are you going to just hope the guys in front know where they're going?I've been watching this cycling program they've had on the tele the last few weeks... looks like 45km/h is a standard pace.
My boss and a few other guys did a long ride on Saturday....

Don't think I'd even survive that.

Another cycling death, this time in NI.
Odd time for it, though, 1am. Odd time to be out. Need more info to know what's going on.

Fair enough. I know it's not a competition or anything serious, but I'm not keen on getting lost and stranded in Suffolk. I guess I should stop worrying, what's the worst that could happen?at least a couple of us will have Garmins with the route (at least the route we took a couple of years ago) but most of the time it's a matter of following the trail of red LEDs up ahead![]()
