Racing Stuff

Nice work Karl, sounds like you're getting along well down there, just need to bully the little kids a bit more eh!

Went out for a little ride today, 51 miles or so, including some hills, then decided I'd pop home grab some extra rations and drink, and go do some hill reps for the Rapha Rising challenge, totalled 102 miles and 7000ft climbing after a detour to meet a friend for a drink. Bit toasty, but a nice bit of wind to keep me cool.

Just need to ride a few more times before your bum moulds to your seat. If it persist, then you might want to look for more comfortable seat - assuming you've adjusted your seats right :)

yea :D they aren't to restrictive though maybe I should get a pair of stretchy jeans and where some padded shorts under them :D
Can you get any kind of gel thing that fit's over your seat?

What do you lycra guys wear when it's really cold?

More lycra

Seriously why on earth do you want to make cycling worse for yourself. At least get some mountain bike shorts or something. The sun would probably do you good no?

Cyclists don't wear Lycra because they are all fetishists it's because it's the best thing to wear. It's the most comfortable and appropriate thing to wear, whilst being as aero as possible.

I'd probably look daft wearing lycra on it though and being over 6"2 how aerodynamic can I really get

Everyone looks daft wearing it. As Thomas said, people dont wear it as a fashion choice, they wear it because it's the best thing to wear.
