It's interesting with the Bale and Suarez move.

Suarez has played in friendlies (as far as I know) and yet his professionalism has been called in to question (well, as far as playing, turning up for training type) and yet he's the player the media have been mentioning in the same breath as he could refuse to play and basically kick up a fuss.

The only thing about Bale is that he 'might turn in a transfer request' according to the media, yet, has he not missed pre season games and that there is debate about him turning up for training.

I just find it interesting that one of the poster boys is getting a better treatment in the press.

Anyway, might be totally wrong about what I've said, but blah.

You aren't wrong.

Bale is portrayed like he can walk on water, whereas he's actually being as much, if not more, of a little ***** than Suarez.

Bale is never going to hand in a transfer request. He'd be missing out on about £1.5mil if he did.

Players know that they can force through moves without handing in a transfer request.

I always get a tiny bit confused when I see you post Tunney :p.

I actually don't think Suarez has done much wrong, Bale is doing exactly the same if not worse that Suarez yet the press give him a much easier ride.

just reading up on other sources there are 2 people who claim to be itk (tbf, they've got a good track record) who are both saying pretty much the same thing as each other; it's all been blown out of proportion, bale is not for sale, he is very happy at spurs and wants to stay and work with AVB for one more season atleast. he has been working on his fitness and AVB is keeping him out of the limelight. the talk of him being ''upset and dissapointed'' are supposedly twoddle and he is very content with life.

he'll probably sign for madrid over the weekend.

So your opinion comes from "ITK" people on Twitter, I presume.

I'm certainly under the impression that he very much wants out, and in all fairness, why wouldn't he?!

I think it must be very difficult for a player to turn down Real Madrid, I mean, it's Real ******* Madrid, they are in that top group of elite clubs in the World.

Has Chong Worrier posted what Real Madrid have done wrong to make him foam at the mouth in rage?

Source please, as far as im aware Fabregas has not said anything about wanting to move to Utd. Hes kept his mouth firmly shut probably told by Barca to do so.

Given how much every other team mate is saying Cesc is going nowhere - I would have thought Barca would want the player to say exactly the same thing (which would stop any further bids in its tracks, and all the media attention in one hit).

Instead CF keeps his mouth firmly shut in publec and (can only be) encouraging Utd behind the scenes.

bale hasn't done anything of the sort though, has he.

have you seen any genuine quotes, interviews, taking own club to court, question ambition or in a nutshell, saying he wants out ala suarez? no.

have THFC had to stick by bale through acts he was banned for? no. but it's ok, tummy says suarez hasn't done muchn wrong.

i'll be gutted if bale goes and i'm not denying it's a massive possibility but spurs have got a pretty clear concious over this, it's marca and real who behaved innapropriately.

UNLESS. this is all a conspiracy between spurs and rm/marca as there's talk that bale has signed a lot of endorsements and is getting a lot of publicity, raising his stock. that's our 'special relationship' with rm, perhaps.

I'm certainly under the impression that he very much wants out, and in all fairness, why wouldn't he?!

i can only think the reason he wouldn't would be his family and friends, AVB and how he feels about life atm. he's only just gone 24. he may think it's too early.

Has he said anything that makes sense or is it just his usual derp Bale walks on water is the son of Christ type and Real Madrid and the Spanish press are all mean?

Has he mentioned something about Suarez actually being an ass?

For clarity I have cm on ignore and really don't like reading his posts.

Iirc he did a few pages back:p.

Mind you i was reading about the whole Suarez thing earlier today and Rodgers had a pop at Arsenal basically saying we are a club without any class:confused: Which is confusing because everytime Wenger is asked about Suarez, he keeps it simple and doesnt actually say we will sign him unlike Real have been doing. In fact Wenger has gone as far as to say that it is up to Liverpool and Arsenal will respect their wishes and wants to keep it amicable. Yes we have made 2 bids and both have been rejected but Arsenal have not gone on record to say we will sign Suarez no matter what Liverpool say unlike Real regarding Bale.

For me what Rodgers said in the papers was pretty low and ive lost a lot of respect for him. Hes **** scared that Suarez wants to leave and may go to Arsenal so is getting a bit heated under the collar and coming out with childish comments about Arsenal

Rodgers and his comments here: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...s-criticises-Arsenal-for-Luis-Suarez-bid.html

Wenger saying that he wants to keep it amicable: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23553495

So just confuses me as to why he would make a stupid statement like he did...Arsenal havent done anything wrong as far as i know...we havent really said much in the media about getting Suarez and Wenger has more or less remained tight lipped over Suarez.

Going by BBC, United might go in for a 3rd. If he doesn't want to come then why are United after him despite Barca saying not for sale?

Obviously we are either hilariously retarded, or getting some serious encouragement from his agent/similar. The quotes from his team mates, like Pique, are interesting, as they always say things like "he's always said he wanted to be here", very much in the past tense, not "I asked him just now and he said he's 100% staying". They're all together for travelling and training, so how hard would it be to ask. Maybe they aren't getting much of a reply.

Better yet, why not just ask the man himself instead of asking all of his teammates...

The 3rd bid is supposed to be €40m, which is probably still too low, but they are shopping for a CB at the moment and the ones they're looking at aren't cheap.

QPR's Adel Taarabt set for Fulham medical ahead of loan.

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt is set to have a medical at west London rivals Fulham ahead of a proposed season-long loan move.

BBC Link.

Could be a smart move for Fulham that, although with him and Berba up front could that be the most languid forward pair in the league?

Roberto Soldado: Tottenham sign £26m striker from Valencia.

Tottenham Hotspur have completed the £26m club-record signing of striker Roberto Soldado from Valencia.

BBC Link.

I like Soldado, on paper that's a great move for Tottenham but we all know football isn't played on paper, will be interesting to see how Tottenham line up this season :).

Gervinho having a medical at Roma now, just a matter of hrs before hes finally gone. I truly hope he does well at Roma, he wasnt that great for us but i wish him all the luck in the world.

Wonder how long Sanogo is going to last now:p

..Arsenal havent done anything wrong as far as i know.....

The £40m + £1 was a pure coincidence?

Arsenal have clearly tapped up Suarez and flaunted it with their bid. And Wenger done the classic, "I don't want to talk about it", while talking about it.

I thought Gervinho was having his medical last night, or that's what I read! Arsenal have had a huge clear out of some of the deadwood at the club this summer and with 16 days left have only signed one player? :p.

Is this to do with Rodgers saying that Arsenal have shown a lack of class over this?
