Ebay returns problem

can someone trust me a link to the video

BTW you should link this thread to the guy to see your not purposely being a **** so he can see for some genuine reason the card won't work for you.

This was my first thought, and my last after reading the whole thread. He's acting like this because he doesn't want to get caught.

Nah, I seriously doubt it. The guy doesn't look skint, why would he go to all that trouble for the sake of what, £41?

I think even though the OP sent it back in bubble wrap and cardboard wrapped round it, a jiffy bag still isn't adequate packaging for a graphics card. It would have to be sent in a cardboard box for me to rule out the RM from bending it, which in this case they could have done with the graphics card.

Could you grab some stills from the video for those of us who haven't seen it? Save everyone asking for a private message with a link in it.

Surfer just get your money back.

Don't request it back and retest it, you can't open another claim for the item once the first one is closed. I learnt the hard way.

im happy to send the link to anyone who wants to see. It does look like the same graphics card in the video.

In my pc when i tested it i have another pciexpress graphics card (x300) which worked.
There is another thread in graphic cards where i posted my problems with getting it to work. Bit of a coincidence that a pc at a repair shop would also show same non-working results though aint it? (fan comes on so there is power going to it but no display image)

After watching the video
the card does indeed appear to work as sold.
the seller may come across a bit annoyed but I'd imagine all of us would be in this circumstance.

TBH if I were the buyer I would ask to return the card but cover any postage charges this bloke has incurred and make sure he's not losing out ,he does seems an honest bloke to me who genuinely sold a working graphics card.

It's likely your PSU or motherboard that is the issue so IMO he should not be losing out

Can't you just post the video link? I'm sure everybody here has heard naughty words before.
I doubt any of the forum users really care about the odd naughty word but for some reasons the people who make the rules do.

tbh there probably shouldn't be kids posting on here anyway and even pg 13 movies can have almost any swear word

Thanks for sharing the video.

You should escalate the claim if you haven't already done so.

His vulgar language and threats of violence is totally unacceptable. You should definitely leave negative feedback.

he has offered to sell it and i will receive whatever it sells for minus the fees

Also if i get it sent back to me paying for postage (again so making it about £9 extra for an initial £41 outlay) and i take it round various pc repair shops and they all say its broken....what kind of mug am i? i would have paid to return it to him then paid to get it back to me...and its useless.

Dont think theres anything wrong with the psu. The mobo i don't know. But this is why i have repeated many times to get it tested independently.

Whenever sending stuff back in the post use recorded delivery. Stops them pretending they didn't get it.

What board and psu are you using? Not sure if i saw it in the thread :)

You do realise if you close the eBay case and agree, he basically has your card and your money. You won't be able to raise another eBay dispute.

One that doesn't just get a refund and be done with it?

It's 870MB and it's really not very exciting or interesting. Tattoo'd bloke shows GPU with glued on fan fins then inserts into desktop and boots to linux.
