I get 70% of games full of retards, makes no difference if you play like a god or not, you still lose.

Its better to get your tank killed and start again, and hope for a better team.

And at the end of the day its just a game, stats mean nothing.
 
Until I installed XVM I didn't care about stats, now I have to admit that I'd like to move up the scale to green :D Seriously though I just want stuff above 50%, I hate having sub 50% on some tanks, and also having less kills than the number of games I have played. My kills per death and damage received/dealt are now both over 1 so happy with that. If there were no visible stats in the game though it wouldn't bother me, I'd be quite happy being blissfully unaware :)

Corrected. However, define the full-retard. Are they retards for pushing the correct points of the map while you sit back at base, "defending" it?

Are they retards because they can't hold an area against the Tier 10 heavies in their tier 9s while you go the "open" route.

If every game you get is full of retards, then it may be that it is you doing something wrong.

Also with stats who really cares, in fact I feel sorry for people who care so much about stats in a game.

Well I like winning. And to do that I make sure I improve. And to do that you look at your stats and someone's who is better, then you try to play more like them. People with terrible stats more often than not, do the wrong things and this hurts your chances of winning by quite a lot, therefore it affects you immediately in that game. If you are doing consistently badly, then you are probably doing something wrong yourself.

Hence why stats matter.

1 I never defend (unless its a defend the flag) I attack, but that only works if you have back up. trying to get kids/non English speakers to follow you is a forlorn hope.

2 I can only muster a T7 at best, and when I see a T9 I worry

3 Yes I do things wrong we all do, and I have not said all games are full of retards

4 You could be the best player in the world, but if the other "x" players are rubbish you are still going to lose.

and I still don't care for stats, its a game, play it for that.
 
sometimes defending is the best way to win, for example if your enemy has a lot of td's then you defend (not basecamp) and make them come to you negating their advantage.

it's how your defend or attack that is important.
 
nought wrong with camping if camping's what your good at,

I love playing the sneaky TD or medium, theres a great camp spot in the centre of Live Oaks (E6, E7), where if you sit quietly for a while and wait for tanks on the rail road, or the hill at E2 to engage you have have a field day picking people off.

Love the comedy BL-10 wiff shot, probably a momentary lag spike where what your seeing on screen doesnt correspond with where the server says your aiming. Either that or Jagdtigers can bend space and time

But instead of just killing yourself why not try and do as much damage as possible even if it ends in defeat?

On a even level of utter moronic behaviour to noobs are "pro's" that read the stats and jump in a lake before anything happens.

And well if your raging at noobs you obviously are carrying about the stats of the game. It's not just wins that are fun.

Where did I say I kill myself? I always play on no matter what, it was the other guy who said he ends himself.

Raging at noobs doesn't mean I care about stats, I care about having an enjoyable game where people want to play properly and not let the whole side down.

I've never once checked my stats.

I have limited game time, naggin wife :eek:

So it is better to die quick and hope next game is a winner.

I still want to win, that's what gaming is about, but I don't care if I do x damage, take y damage as long as our team wins.
 
its also the morons that spam you with camping messages when you are actually defending. I also dont think some players grasp the concept of providing covering fire also.

I love it when you find a nice spot in cover as a TD, ready to lay down support fire... and a heavy pulls up beside you! They restrict your movement, and are spotted straight away so you draw fire, idjits!
