You ain't wrong, the 780 should have replaced the 680 at £400, but what ya gonna do?
 
anyone have a link which does a quick comparison of the different 780s? I'm trying to work out if the premium of the superclockers/HOF/Lightning is worth it or not.
 
Whether to keep my 7990 on order or move over for this :/

Performance and heat vs less performance but less heat and electricity :D
 
Well I will be purchasing the MSI GTX 780 as soon as i get home tonight as it's now showing at £419.99 not £439.99 as originally shown.
My only concern is if the game bundles are added at 2pm will the prices go up a tad to allow for this?
If not who would buy a card now and not wait until this afternoon.

Cheers OCUK & NVidia looks like i'll be ready to play BF4 after all :)

In an ideal world, this would be the case but Nvidia had 9 months with the Titan prior to the 290X and 3 months with the 780 prior to the 290X. They charged what a lot of people were happy to pay. AMD turn up late to the party with a reference 290X that beats a reference 780 most times but with these OC 780's kicking butt with much better coolers, these 780 prices are more than welcome. I am begging to see the Titan drop so I can grab another for SLI again :D

The Ti will be out in a couple of weeks as well. Nvidia did done good :D
